I'm a night owl and I've given a friend a ride to this Casino once before. I just dropped him off then drove back to my sad lonely apt. Tonight I asked if I could come in 'cuz it beat going to the apt. I knew Vince, the on-duty Officer /Doorman! Then up walked Amanda, who was the most polite, genuine, helpful young lady/Hostess, Waitress that I've had the pleasure to have greet me at a business IN A LONG TIME. Her customer Service skills were excellent as well as Vince s in Security. Not only did they allow me to relax and feel welcome, but they also made sure that the recently off-duty employees were escorted to their cars via a bright shiny, covered golf cart! It was 330-4am so it was dark and they were single women who have to park around back. Oh, and I got to meet Tashi, the singing Chef! The sound system was crystal clear & the song choices were smoith & relaxing. The employees who passed by all seemed to have a good conradery. I was told I could come by any late night for something to eat & just relax. This may sound sappy, but I left there happy and with a full heart! THANK YOU 'ACE'S POKER! I'll be back for the Noodle soup soon! LOVED IT! ...
Read moreDO NOT VISIT!!! I have been a regular to this poker room since it opened and knew the dealers working there pretty well but since last night, I would not go back again. I tried to get some chips last night from the floor and gave them 500 but the floor claimed I only gave 400 and gave me 400 chips. He didn't even counted the money I gave in front me. I said you must not count it right because I just got them from the ATM today and those are the only $100s I have in my wallet. We agreed he will go check the camera to verify. It takes them 3 hours and 2 asks to do so. A new floor came and showed me a very blurry picture with both floor's hand and my hand covering the STACKED bills and saying its shows 4. I asked to see a short clip of the video or more pictures from other angles. Both requests got denied and she just right out concluded that is the case. This is a pretty serious issue but the floors do not put in any efforts to get to the bottom of it and showed me enough evidences. I hope will no one should have this experience so...
Read moreAces Poker is honestly one of the worst poker rooms I’ve played in. The room is packed with old-school nits, most of them well over 50, just sitting around waiting for AA or KK. I’ve played in California and Vegas before, and I have to say—Seattle’s poker scene is on a different (and disappointing) level. It’s all limp-callers and passive nits here, and Aces is the peak of that style.
There’s no real action at the table. No one plays creatively, no one’s taking spots—it’s like they’re allergic to the idea of a “squid game” hand. The vibe is stiff, and if any of these old guys lose a hand, they get salty; if they win, they start showing off. It’s not fun poker—it’s just waiting and folding.
On top of that, the dealers are mediocre at best and often have bad attitudes. Honestly, if you’re looking for a dynamic, action-filled poker environment, this is...
