There are many good sandwiches to be found in Berks County, especially around the city of Reading, but this is the best Reading has to offer! (At least in this Hoagie Guru’s considered opinion). May favorite is Scott’s Special and it never disappoints! Good dry, great with oil and vinegar, and incredibly messy and delicious with a touch of mayo (yes I said mayo) and hoagie pepper spread! The Liscio’s roll is superb (although the seeded roll I prefer, isn’t available 😢) and tops it off! Three different sandwich crafters all build a great hoagie and never disappoint! If you’re in the area Thursday through Saturday, 8:00 am through 4:00 pm, give them a try; I know you’ll love it!
