I physically went in and canceled my membership, in March of 2024. I was told it was canceled and not to worry about it.
I left take 5 and went to a competitor where I opened a membership the same day. ( The competition is closer to my house)
In July, I noticed a withdrawal from "car wash". - JUST "CAR WASH" I called the phone number to find out who "car wash" was. I went that day and the ladies remembered me... ( maybe they don't have a huge clientele in wheelchairs)
I went through all their hoops to be reimbursed for 4 months. I figured that it wouldn't be a problem, as I didnt use their services after the day I canceled. ( They didn't cancel my membership)I was told by email that it wasn't their fault they didn't cancel the membership when I personally went in & was told it was canceled. They refused to make it right but did refund ½ of what they owed me.
I was seriously thinking about opening my membership again...just because the ladies in the on site office were so awesome... BUT if this is how they do business, I don't want any part of them.
If you do business with Take 5 in Munford, BEWARE. Corporate is DIRTY.
UPDATE: "Owner" left a comment on my review requesting I call a number... it doesn't offer an option to speak to anyone. Just gives the email address- that I already have communicated with- thus them not returning ½ of the money they stole from me. Read moreMy husband and I were appalled. We had heard decent things about this place but it certainly didn't seem that way to us. I hate badmouthing a business and they were busy that day but it was just too much.
First the girl who was taking the money seemed very disinterested. Me and my husband were not greeted and basically got very little customer service. I am sure she is a nice person but the customer service needs to be improved.
That being said there were two guys that were spraying off your truck or whatever kind of vehicle you had. Well I was driving and when they were done, one of the guys yells at me to put my truck in neutral. He acted like he was angry I didn't know that. Well my husband and I had never been to your fancy wancy Car Wash USA Express and not all of us know to do that because we are used to the way car washes used to be. How is someone new to it supposed to know?
Finally we go through the car wash thing and the truck was not very clean at all and the prices are relatively high. We could have gotten it done cheaper.
