I was in town visiting with some friends and suggested a Mexican place. This is where they took me and it was very excellente! They were very busy so service was a bit slow but I wasn't in a hurry. I had the Texas Margaritas that were pretty darn good, and I lived in Texas for 20 years, and spend every winter in Mexico since retirement, so I know a thing or two about margaritas. About margaritas. The food was good too. I didn't get the usual Tex-Mex stuff but something off their special menu that had shrimp and vegetables with cheese and was very good. They're refried beans were tasty as well, although not as much as I would have liked. The Mexican rice that came with. It was well seasoned and cooked well, although a little on the cool side on the plate. By the time it came out. I got the flan to go, and it was most excellent. It had a nice caramel sauce which unfortunately leaked out from the container it was in but that was my fault for not paying attention to its orientation. Fortunately it stayed in the bag and didn't damage me or my car and that meant less calories in my belly which was fine with me. If I ever get in that end of the world again I would probably want to go back. I wish I remembered the waiter's name that we had but he was a good hombre, and all the way to staff there seem pretty cool. The woman at the Pay counter was a little withdrawn but she looked busy. I wish I had taken pictures but after The second margarita I forgot...

First visit since they moved “across the street.” They weren’t busy, so we thought, “Great, we’ve beat the Sunday crowd!” We were seated almost immediately at a booth that had yet to be wiped down. They were slow with the complimentary chips & dips (and subsequently with our entire order). I ordered a virgin daiquiri. I hated to complain, but for the cost of it, I did. Second one, not much better. Chips, were just that, chips/chipped. Hard to pick up small pieces with the salsa, guacamole, & cheese dip (had 2 baskets of tortillas, both were thin & crumbly). When my husband & I finally got our order (he was missing a portion of his), food was slightly warm & not nearly as “authentically good-tasting” as at there last location. Our server was nice enough, but each time we had to ask about our food or receipt after paying, he blamed a co-worker that was supposed to have brought our order, or the young lady had yet to ring up our order because she was on YouTube (:/). Bigger doesn’t mean better. It seems they’ve sacrificed quality/taste of the food & customer experience for a bigger and nicer facility. Parking lot was getting full as we were leaving. I hope their experience was better than ours. Might give them another try later down the road, as I want to believe it may just be some adjustments they need to work on before getting back to how they were, “across...

I normally would write this kind of stuff because I usually don’t care. I know Covid is a thing of the past and we really should have to worry about it. Spreading an illness through the food industry shouldn’t be taken lightly.
While I was standing there waiting for a food order (was told 15, but took 45 mins). I was watching the the plethora of people walking by minding their business, paying there bill to what looked like a very sick worker you had working the register tonight (6-26-23). I physically watched this kid cough several times into his hands and then Proceed to handle peoples cards, money, and even all the take out orders. I mean I understand people can be sick, but I feel the food industry should not be the place, especially since you’re handling peoples food. No telling how many more people there are sick and handling food handling food and your drinks. I know he didn’t wash his hands, I had plenty of time to sit there and watch this go down.
So something to think about, if you people reading this ended up sick and don’t know where from. More than likely it was from there, food on the other hand was...
