The other day, I posted barria tacos from Casa Mexicana.. They were trash! Today, I had the best barria tacos and sauce that's totally authentic. This is what you would get in Mexico! The sauce was not oily. The tacos were not all greasy and were cooked to perfection! Do not... I repeat, do not go to any other Mexican restaurant in the Atoka/Munford area. Failed right away...what real Mexican place serves fajitas on a cold plate.??..Fajitas served on a cold plate..!chicken was dry and cold as well as rice and beans. Salsa tasted like plain tomatoes ..very bland ..small place they pack you into..first and last time going. I was hoping simple, that you could not mess it up . I went with the carne especial. Says it comes with a thin ribeye cut but it was more of sirloin. . The rice was dried out and had bits of carbon, the beans needed seasoning. The cut it was well season but not the cut advertised. The queso was likely what ruined the meal. It was supposed to be queso fresco but likely expired because i spent a greater portion of the night with an upset stomacj almost immediately finishing the meal.
