Caddo Antiques has an extremely welcoming staff. My friends and I spent an entire week in the Hot Springs area, and I can confidently say that the staff here is the warmest, kindest, most helpful group of people that we met.

They informed us how to navigate the city and educated us on some interesting facts about the area as well. We stopped at this location to pick up some diamond digging tools, but ended up making a second visit on our way out just to talk with the ladies again.

Tourist trap. Found store to be overcrowded with narrow aisles. Items being sold not particularly unique. They seem most interested in selling Crater diamonds (some were unearthed by some successful historical miners) so those might be collectible. However they lost interest in us as shoppers when I told them I was in town to mine some. Friendly lady running shop was incredibly helpful. Daughter was looking for peridot and went above and beyond to assist her. Found one and we were able to get it. She held our desired items until we were ready to check out so we didn't have to carry them and even provided me with a bag to help carry the sifters purchased from their sister shop across the street.
