Average comic book store with a reliable supply of trending new release books, decent selection of silver age that are... priced to match ebay's fluctuating price's minus shipping + fees + convenience discount, as well as statues & cool vintage toys that add to the atmosphere. They offer comic book supplies for sale (bags, boards, top loaders - except long & short storage boxes).

My biggest complaint is that the standard BCW boards that they sell are bent to a point that books stored inside will have a slight curve after some time. Their entire stock of boards have this defect and I've pointed it out each time I've come in over the past 2 months; owners and employees shrugged it off and said that it was normal or would adjust over time. It's not a tiny corner bend. The entire pile is curled when laying on a table or later packaged inside of a box.

It's hard to believe that this defect was not noticed or addressed to the supplier/distributor, and that people that deal in comics can shrug it off like it is normal, or not noticed when they were received. It's kinda hard to miss how bent these were; I'd certainly call for a discount after ordering a pallet of bent boards, so I'm annoyed that it was shrugged off 3+ times when I've come in solely to purchase supplies over the past couple of months while waiting for another shipment. There's usually a decent MTG selection , especially if an employee made the choice to be social that day and educate you about the current choices . BUT . When asked if they dealt with YuGiOh i was told No . I brought in a binder with all kinds of TCs from Naruto to Japanese Dragon Ball , MTG and YuGiOh . and asked them to appraise a few MTG cards , and asked if they would make an offer . They told me it would take time , and they wouldn't be able to do it all that day and i could leave it and come back . I knew better , and this is a warning to watch while they go through items you bring in . They ended up removing Several YuGiOh cards from binder sleeves , and i could only assume set them aside in hopes i wouldn't notice . Well sure enough i didn't before i had left with the offer for the MTG cards they purchased from me . I consider this theft . Divert Business Elsewhere by any means , unless you're on that hunt for a card and will do anything for it . Let this be your last stop .

Edit : You bought what i intended to sell and took more than was acknowledged in the transaction . Far from you "not buying" my collection . I can only morally justify it because i didn't double check everything myself . I deal with things like this all the time it's not a problem for me to be honest about business when you cannot be . What can I say about outer limits boro I can tell you from a personal stand point that it is , hands down. One of the BEST collector and comic book stores in Tennessee. I had been going there since 2010, of course that was there orginal location, that had a tragedy and then they moved to broad with a far bigger venue, then they moved again a few years after that , to a little shop in the corner of N.W Broad next to where the new gym is being built.

You never know what people are going through, or what they are facing in their life. Some peoples lives maybe parallel to the comics they read , in some instance or another we facing things differently. No matter how difficult something could be or how long it was , We never let it over shadow what we are capable of.

outer limits gave me a break , allowed me the abillity to not only prioritize what i was dealing with or a place to completely forget for that time period i was there.

but above all, i met some of the best , most remarkable people for the time I was hanging out there.
