Ritz Furniture — Local services in Murphy

ZERO STARS! Extremely disappointed. Mid-February my husband and I went into this furniture store after looking at furniture for months after we had moved into our new house. We went in and they didn't have exactly what I had in mind so the owner had us look at the kiosk and said they could order anything we wanted and we could come and look at it before we purchased it so that sounded great! I went though all the couches they had ranging from $300-1600 and I had found several that I loved but I found a set that I had done my research on already and it was cute but the reviews had also mentioned that it was good for people with children. When I let her know I wanted a full size couch, sectional couch, and a recliner she made it very clear that I had chosen the cheapest furniture they sold which of course upset me but I just went on and ordered the furniture. Like I said I had done my research but being young and having a small child I knew this wouldn't be my "forever furniture". So I was told that the furniture would be at the store in 1.5-2 weeks. So I called the next Friday and it wasn't there yet, no big deal. I then called every week and every week they said it will be here next week.. until they closed for COVID-19 and still no furniture. So by the time they closed for COVID-19 I had already waited at least a month probably a little over, fine. I understood that COVID-19 was affecting EVERYTHING. But what was most upsetting is when they finally opened back up they still didn't call me. They NEVER called me. I had always called them. They didn't call me from the time I ordered the furniture and it has been almost 3 months now . Thankfully I went ahead and ordered from the manufacturer and received it already and it...

I visited several different furniture stores in Murphy. Some of them had a great selection of high-quality furniture, but their furniture was over-priced. I understand that you get what you pay for when it comes to quality, but even so, I think they had their stock marked up too much. One store had a very nice set, but they said it could be a couple of weeks turnaround for order and delivery. I even stopped by Big Lots, but the quality of their furniture was questionable, and they don't deliver at all. Thankfully, I found a gorgeous, comfortable, high-quality couch and coffee table at Ritz Furniture for a reasonable price with next-day delivery. Rick was very helpful, answering a bunch of questions about items there in the showroom and on their giant touch screen for ordering items not in stock. I'll probably order the matching end tables. This store is pretty cool with a lot of things to offer on every budget. I wish i could remember the ladies name that i had first talked with, she was awesome. We also delt with Jennifer who was super amazing as well. They really listen and try their best to accommodate the customer. We ended up purchasing a bed, 2 night stands and 2 dressers for my wife and i. Then we deceided to purchase beds and night stands for each of our kids, some boxsprings for everyone and some decorative hooks. The prices are really good, the product consultants were amazing.
