Run in the opposite direction and donât look back! I had my wedding in Murphy and had Chasity and Tamala come out to do hair for myself and bridesmaids. Chasity was incredibly rude and unprofessional, even stopped doing one of my bridesmaids hair in the middle telling her over and over she had bad hair. Both consistently complained about everyoneâs hair as they were doing it, none of us have ever had any issues throughout multiple events in the past. I just could not get over how badly they spoke about us as if we were not present! Somehow, someway, on this day everyone suddenly had terrible hair because they were incapable of styling it. Both consistently complained about being hot or the smell of hairspray. One bridesmaid asked if they could re-curl one piece of my (the brides) hair because it was falling out, to which Tamala scoffed and said âwhy did you have to say something, I turned off the curling iron,â rolled her eyes and reluctantly tried to curl it again with an unplugged and cooled iron. Even our makeup artist apologized for their rude behavior after they left. I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior in a business setting, more or less a wedding event that should be happy and non stressful. One bridesmaid requested a simple style with a picture to which Chasity answered after she fixed her hair that she did what she wanted instead. Not to mention, nobodyâs hair looked great or even held, we had to pin it back up before the wedding. I cannot speak for the entire salon but I wouldnât book these two âstylistâ again for anything in this world! The fact that I had to pay so much money for this encounter was the most stressful part of my entire wedding...
Read moreBeautiful interior & perfect spot in downtown Murphy. Unfortunately, I did not have a pleasant experience. I had my roots done 3x by two different women. My 1st visit, the color lasted the usual 3-4 wks before my gray started showing. On my 2nd visit, I had my roots done by a different employee. I had to return the very next day to have them done again as it looked as if I never had it done. (It's very dark in the salon, so it's difficult to see the roots on dark hair). I was told she was putting on a "stronger" hair color. But, within 2 wks, my grays were back as if my hair was never colored. I chalked it up to the weather being cold. My next appt. the exact same thing happened. In a wks time, it was as if I never had it colored. When I questioned the stylist about this, she was very defensive & said it must be my new hair growth. I've had my hair colored for over 15 yrs, and I've never had my grays come through so quickly even w/washing every day (which I did not do now). I even asked about the color time, brand, etc. Was made to feel very uncomfortable and doubted. I'm not a hair color expert by any means, but I have been going somewhere else now, and it's been 4 wks and only a few grays showing. So. . . 5/3. Reply to owner: Yes. Would you like me...
