You will absolutely NOT save money here. With the poor quality of items and constant need to return things for various reasons you will end up wasting time that could've been saved by simply shopping elsewhere. For example, my kids have always enjoyed their fruit snacks, recently, they both stopped eating them. I ate 3 packages myself and ALL 3 packages had tiny plastic-like hard teeth breaking balls in them. I went to my local Aldi to return, spoke to the manager on duty and she told me she would file the necessary paperwork, but that I would get my money back and something with the similar price of the fruit snacks. I had another item to return (do not recommend their canned black beans, they taste and smell like fish) so I went in the checkout line to return. She explained to the cashier the twice is nice policy and what to do, instead the cashier just refunded me for the items. I figure "oh, its probably because I didn't have an item to substitute for the policy of getting something of similar value as well as my money back". Shopped (briefly as I don't trust most of what they carry anymore) and returned to the checkout line in which the manager was working. I explained that I would receive one item the price of the fruit snacks. She very rudely explained that "You should've done that before all at once" to which I told her "not only did I not know that, but your cashier didn't explain that either", then she proceeded to act like I ruined her entire day as she scanned items to find a price similar. Since nothing seemed close enough for her, she randomly gets up and walks away to start looking at shelf prices. She refunded me a pack of muffins $2.69, for a package of fruit snacks that (likely)filled my kids with plastic $5.49. Absolutely ridiculous! This right here is the reason they get away with what they do, nobody wants to deal with the hassle and degradation you go through to return items. Then, at the bottom of every Aldi receipt it says to tell them how they did online! Well, guess what? Aldi corporate is not accepting any reviews anymore. Must be because SO many are negative and they cannot rectify it. If you don't give people a voice, nothing's wrong, makes...
Read moreI was in the store today with my service dog who is 2 pounds, This all the employee asked me if she has the paperwork and no, I did not have the paperwork with me. I gave my poodle a shower ran out of the store and I forgot her necklace. She asked me to leave the store and I’m on my way out while I was on my way out. I grabbed one thing she came out of me and made a scene in the middle of the store in front of everybody embarrassed me and scared the heck out of my. She was extremely rude asking me to leave like I had an alligator in the store not a 2 pound little pup. The worst part is, she was yelling, and everybody was staring. I feel embarrassed and very disrespected. He almost looks like she had a bad day and had somebody to take it out on, and he was...
Read moreAldi is a great place to pick up regular groceries for great prices! They have K-cups for $4/box of 12!!! And they're delicious!!! It's also a great place to get exotic treats from Europe!! Just remember to bring a quarter (it's a pretty ingenious way to keep the carts out of the parking lot-you put a quarter in to get the cart out & when you put the cart back-you get your quarter back) & bring some bags from home. They sell reusable bags, which are pretty inexpensive & it's a great way to help 'go green'. Their dairy products are by far superior to the other grocery store brands too!! I could...
