Went to the drive-thru and placed a order. The clerk talked as if she cotton balls in her mouth and couldn't get the order right if her life depended on it. I told her I have a mobile coupon for a free blizzard of my choice and ordered a strawberry sundae and soda for my fiancee. They told us that the total was $11 and some change. I asked them how does this even come close to the total when a sundae is $3 and a soda is $2 and my blizzard is free. They then said I need to print a coupon, because they do t accept mobile coupons or coupons from the DQ app. They said I need to go home and print the coupon and come back. I called the next morning to speak to the owner and he's as clueless as his workers. He will take your money but not honor DQ coupons or apps. He says he needs a printed coupon, yet the mobile coupon and coupons from the app do not have printing capabilities.
DQ is no longer running or operating on the standards that it was founded on.
Another American company that failed by franchising itself to money-hungry morons who have no morals or respect for the clientele that put the company on the map.

Read moreI absolutely hate this place. The people are quiet, rude, and unfriendly. I'd say 8 out of 10 times they're slow. And when it comes to the food everyone there is an idiot. Let me note that I've never had a problem at the Southridge mall one. And that I also use to work at the Dairy Queen in Mayfair mall before they closed down. I know how easy it is to make a blizzard or smoothie. If you try to order ANYTHING slightly different from the menu they panic. Like today and countless other days, I asked for a banana smoothie. Even if they don't have a recipe it's not that hard to make! Just make a strawberry banana smoothie and add more banana. And hold the strawberries. Simple as that. Instead I got the reply of "uh..I don't think we can't do that" Okay. Fine. So I got a strawberry smoothie and they didn't even blend it enough so all I taste is chunks of ice. Good job guys you're doing a...
Read moreIm a DQ fan, since I was a kid.
Personally, I believe their burgers are upper class in the fast food universe. Had one on a Friday and grilled at home Saturday and very little difference. The buns are never misshapen and toppings are far more fresh than a local much higher price joint. Goes without saying the ice cream & shakes are great, but I'm a Dilly Bar fanatic. (Birthday ice cream cakes are superb, as well.)
Place is clean as a whistle. As expected, being part of a fuel station, most customers are drive-thru or pick-up. So indoors is quiet, and if it's nice outside, eat on the patio!
A friend of the family via our high school worked here quite a while and she was happy there. And bonus compliment: I was in a rush to get home and decided I'd pop in to use an app promo that was going to expire. When I was flustered because the app wasn't responding, they gave me the...
