Iām not one to usually leave negative reviews, but I have been A Walgreens customer for years and moved to Michigan last year and tries to give this location on Sherman a chance for about the last year. The pharmacy team there treated me like I was somehow a criminal every time I tried to fill a prescription (electronically submitted) from my Dr in Illinois. They always kept me on a long hold when trying to contact, and almost every month made me contact my dr to resubmit the prescription. The last two times I tried to fill it, they canceled the order for no reason, and never informed me about it.. I would have to contact my Dr. who is also equally confused to send it agai , only to have them cancel it again. I know what any reasonable person reading this is thinking.. āthe pharmacy had good reason for what they did.. you are dumbā. Thatās what I started to ask myself after months of being treated like a criminal for trying to fill my prescription and getting attitude/zero explanation from pharmacy staff I spoke with. However, with the advice from my Dr. i changed pharmacies and have zero issues with Rite Aid. Do not use the 24 HR pharmacy on Sherman in Muskegon, they are rude and could not care less about your personal needs. I could go into more detail but I am done waisting anymore time with this place. Truly awful experience for the better part...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWalgreens pharmacy is going downhill. I had a prescription for 12 vials of insulin, they only refilled my prescription with 6 vials. My problem is I normally pay the same price for 12 vials that they are charging me for 6. I asked would I be charged again for my remaining 6 vials? They said yes, because they were only able to get 6. I again told them that I normally get 12 vials for what I'm paying for 6 vials. This sounds to me as Walgreens is making a profit when they only fill your prescription for less than what the prescription called for. Walgreens is making a profit by doing this and this practice is not acceptable. I switched my prescriptions to another pharmacy and they fill my prescriptions as ordered for the same price as Walgreens was only giving me half of my medicine. I consider this to be fraud. I think Walgreens pharmacy is corrupt and I will never have a prescription filled here again. They are not looking out for the consumer (patient) It is their bottom line is to make more money at your expense. If you don't believe me check-out another pharmacy for yourself. I didn't want to believe it either, but I now see it for myself. They have been over charging me and my insurance for years....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went here at 3 in the morning for an emergency oxycodone prescription for a post-surgical treatment. The drive thru tried to charge me almost $400 for it claiming the insurance card I handed them expired in 2017. I only worked for the company I have insurance for six months; so I knew they were wrong. They told me to ācome inside and say theyāre wrong it to their faceā; so I did. Lo and behold, they entered the information incorrect after showing me a printed screenshot of what they entered. They did not apologize for their mistake. I only paid $28.
Placeās pharmacy is sketchy AF. I donāt feel like need to get in a near-altercation to get pain medicine for post-surgical emergencies. Iām going to the one across town...
