We had an excellent experience at this location and highly recommend it!

We chose the Alice in Wonderland room, and it did not disappoint. The room was challenging yet fun, which made the experience even more rewarding. A big shoutout to Cathy (I hope I’m spelling that correctly), our wonderful game master. She did a great job guiding us — instead of giving away answers, she encouraged us to think critically and work through the puzzles, which we really appreciated.

Prior to our visit, I called twice — once about scheduling and once about the venue’s location — and Cathy was kind and helpful both times, which made a great impression even before we arrived.

Another thing we really liked was that this particular room had a maximum of three players. We personally prefer to play with just our own group, so we loved that we weren’t matched with strangers.

Lastly, the location of the escape room is a bonus! It’s connected to a costume store, which was perfect for us since we like to plan for Halloween early. We enjoyed being able to browse and shop after the game.

Oh and of course we beat the room with 12...

We were wrapping up our week long vacation and decided to do a last minute activity. A escape room sounded fun, so out of all the escape rooms in myrtle we went to escape goats becuase we are goat owners ourselves, and they have a goat as a logo. We first walked in and said this place is pretty cool with all the stripes and checker pattern, all the things hanging on the wall were pretty cool to look at as well. Then we met Kathy... we told her that this was our first escape room. She was so awesome to chat with and she explained everything really well. We had a blast doing the escape room and we needed very little clues to help us get through. When we were done she said we did awesome with little help and 22 minutes to spare.. As an escape room enthusiast, I would definitely put Escape Goat on the top of a must do list if visiting the Myrtle Beach area! I have done 60 + escape rooms and these had some of the most fun and unique puzzles I have seen. We got to preview their new Virus Outbreak room and the room was definitely a fun experience with super intricate and mind twisting puzzles! The staff, including Cody, Shanna, and Mallory, were so sweet and made our experience unforgettable! All of their rooms are fun and interactive and each offer a unique escape room experience! I would say do not make their outbreak room your first escape room ever, as I would probably start with Wonderland. Give this place a visit!
