What a disappointment. But let me explain. I chose this restaurant tonight. The atmosphere was great! Fun, pretty outside by the water. Most people will have zero issues and will love this place. But if you have allergies and need to make substitutions you need to look elsewhere. I have a baby and am currently breastfeeding. She has allergies so I cannot eat eggs, dairy, or soy. Thus, it is difficult finding places for me to eat in addition to making sure the rest of my family will be happy. I figured I would get a burger without a bun and make some substitutions. I always have to do this. I just did this last night at River City Cafe and they had zero issues with this. I highly recommend River City Cafe, they are very accommodating for people with allergies. But not this place. I asked for the jalapeno pimento cheese burger for 13.99. It made the most since because it had everything I wanted on it and I thought I could substitute the "lots and lots" of pimento cheese for avocado or something. When I asked they said no. I asked them to double check with the manager and let them know I have a food allergy and the manager said no. I could take the bun and pimento cheese off and add other things for a dollar. Zero substitutions. It didn't make sense to me, because if it were a slice of cheese I would get it. But the pimento cheese and a couple slices of avocado or really anything that's dairy, egg, and soy free would have seemed like a normal trade off. Like I said, River City Cafe substituted everything I asked yesterday and was so kind and understanding about it. At this point it wasn't about the money, it was the principal. I just got a side of fries as my meal. Figured it would tide me over until I got back to the hotel to eat. When the manager (Jack) came out to try to explain, I told him I 100% understand their policy. I used to be a server for several years, but my manager was so much more customer focused and customer satisfaction came first. At the end of the day I wasn't able to get a bun or pimento cheese due to allergies. Asking to throw on a couple slices of avocado on it or if not avocado I would have taken anything. Pickles maybe? But no. I don't want Jack or anyone to get in trouble, because well he did what he believed to be right. He values policy over customer satisfaction. My diet is so hard, but so worth it for my baby. But man, this is the first time in 7 months that I haven't had an accommodating restaurant. I hope this review makes its way to the owner so maybe they can consider making exceptions for those who are unable to eat anything on their menu without making a substitution. So if you have no allergies you'll love this place, if you do have allergies, skip it and go to River City Cafe instead.

Very energetic place with a lot of comforts. It's set up can accommodate the ones into the bar scene and those who want the restaurant feel with the option to shut out looking at the river. I was very impressed and so were my family from Florida! The service was great and the food was so good with lots to choose from and dessert! My sister who is vegan had her salad delivered in a really gorgeous bowl and it looked so good!😋💕 I am going to share my food but be warned I had began biting into my food and stopped to take my photo😂😋💕 We had a very adorable young lady to serve our food and she was a pro at her job, she served with excellence. The bar area was a little loud and lit (made me laugh), but they were watching all kind of sports! I was outback and viewing and I'm also noisy watching sports! I didn't come on an entertainment night, but I know I heard some music one evening as I was passing by! We all really enjoyed the place and it's on our favorite list! And my sister found that bowl and ordered two bowls for me. I will be using them real soon! [Visited on August 2025]

This was our first visit. Parking is limited. Our server disappeared. I want a refill on my soda, but since we had paid, she was nowhere to be found. Very unprofessional. Now, to the food. My wife and I ordered the Blackened Shrimp Nachos and an order of hot wings, and and order of fries. The wings did have some heat, but the most important thing is that they had a wonderful flavor. Anyone can create heat, but not all can do heat with great taste. Kudos! The Nachos had thin, crispy chips loaded with shrimp and drizzled with a fabulous Asian cream sauce. Highly recommended. The fries were cooked perfectly. Not too crisp, not too soft. There was a great band playing with a wide range of 70s and 80s rock. Overall, chill atmosphere. Delicious, filling food at reasonable prices. Service is dicey. Give it a try, and hope you get an attentive server.

Worst service ever experienced. had to flag down rude waitress to make order which was never delivered then flagged down a waiter who was kind enough to take order then disappeared for 40 min. When finally returned order was inquired about to no avail. Waited another 30 min before asking to talk to manager who was defensive and rude ( wonder where the waitresses get their attitude). No offer of apology only defensive excuses and insinuations of lying about wait time. Food finally delivered after 1 hr 20 min. Without any sign or offer of oversight or lack of attention. Management has NO sense of customer service or customer satisfaction. This establishment is in dire need of sensitivity training not to mention resturant management. Food was acceptable but not nearly worth the time spent of my life I will never be able to recover. To illustrate the total nerve and disrespect for customer satisfaction no offer of compensation or reason was offered for the total ineptitude of the staff and management. I was totally disgusted and dissatisfied with this poor excuse for a resturant offering a pleasant meal and service. My only reason for continuing my exhaustive wait for mediocre food was to see just how ineptitude this resturant could achieve. Well I found out but fool me once shame on you fool me twice no chance. I look forward to...

I went to this place because i was trying to get away from the beach(over priced and awful). i guess i didn't go far enough. Yes, i understand its basically a bar, but their food seemed ok on their website. We got there and were handed a really small menu. Nothing was on it that i had saw on their website, I thought, ok they are probably short-staffed that's ok, I understand. For a split second I considered paying for our drinks and leaving. I should have followed my instincts but I wanted to give them a shot. I just want to note our waitress was very nice and attentive. We got our food quick but it was terrible. My boyfriend ordered a Philly Cheesesteak. Absolutely no seasoning. Not even salt or pepper. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish tasted like it had been frozen, it also had no seasoning and there was so much grease i had a stomach ache after eating it. I didn't finish most of it. The fries were sub-par and they were the best part of the meal. Then we got the check. I always leave a good tip for waitstaff so that was included. I wasn"t surprised by the amount because I pay attention to prices. It was just a reminder that we had spent 30+ bucks on horrible food. Will never...
