Pub International — Restaurant in Myrtle Beach

Ok, so my wife and I stumbled upon this place being here visiting my daughter. We are from upstate NY . So I can tell you there is certain foods that I am extremely particular about and I won’t hesitate for a second to complain if it’s not perfect especially for what some places are charging for food nowadays. A little bit about me , from first glance you can easily tell I like to eat .And no I am not obese or what have you . Enough said . But my other problem or better yet problem for whatever establishment I happen to sit down at . I love to cook . Nine times out of ten I know even before I put even a morsel of whatever is placed in front of me. That I could easily make it better than what the wait person just placed in front of me and so unbelievably told me how delicious it was going to be.

So we sit down at this placed , nice enough looking place . I asked the person who came over what was his favorite food at the place. He looked me dead in the eyes and told me to order the bacon me crazy burger . He told me I would not be disappointed.

So I ordered the bacon me crazy burger.

The wait person just so happened to be the owner of the bar/restaurant.

And I just so happen to be probably one of the most annoying person to any one person who recommends something to me that is even in the slightest bit not exactly what he/ she says something is .

The bacon me crazy burger. Easier became from the first second I took a bit of it , hands down in my over 50 years of enjoying DAMM fine burgers .

Seriously the very BEST burger I have ever eaten.

My wife asked me , how was it . I politely as I could asked her to leave me alone. I seriously was in heaven. I just wanted to sit there and just eat . I have eaten burgers from all over our country. I lost count after a couple thousand.

This bacon me crazy burger from Pub International ranks in my top 1 of the best burgers I have EVER had.

Then the fries . Seriously I was just expecting the same boring fries exactly the same boring fries every one else serves . Same as everyone else putting too much on the plate , hoping the customers won’t think how terrible the fries really are. Since there’s so much fries .

ARE THEY joking at Pub International. Are they thinking we wouldn’t notice. Seriously thinking if they give u an over abundance of fries . Did they really think we wouldn’t notice. Did they really think we wouldn’t notice. I am still hours later , STILL trying to figure out what they put on their fries to make them taste so DAMM delicious. The cut on them makes me think hand cut so yes hand made , so yes FRESH. But there’s something else.

Pub International knows how to make DAMM delicious fries.

Thanks a lot for one of the best burgers on the planet and seriously something I wasn’t expecting damm delicious fries .

Dang…the place, the darts, and the pool tables are so nice, the whole place was really cool, especially with the Beetlejuice Halloween decorations, it was my first time in there with my wife. Unfortunately it wasn’t the best experience because of the service. Our bartender was unnecessarily sarcastic when I asked if he had “el patron”. I know it sounds like a dumb question but believe it or not I’ve been in some bars where they didn’t have it. I have an accent, and after I asked for it he asked me if I was asking for a specific special kind of drink. Perhaps the “El” in front of Patron threw him off or maybe it was my accent, but instead of trying to understand or asking for clarification he was patronizing and rude. Before all of this my wife already had ordered 2 appetizers, and after waiting for over an hour, and seeing other people‘s food come out but not ours, we realized he never rang the food in. I don’t wanna judge the bartender on this error because it could have been mistake but, I’ve never seen a bar taking more than 1 hour long for cooking wings and potato balls which is when we realize he just didn’t put the order in. When my wife asked him about the food, he said it didn’t get rung in, and he didn’t even apologize. We would like to come back there and have a better experience, but this definitely put a bad taste in our mouth. I’m not the owner or anything close to it, but if I had a really cool bar like that with a really bad service I would like to know about the bad service that my employees would be providing to my clients, speaking as a person that also runs his own businesses. The best thing about this place is it’s proximity to Magoo’s, which we walked to after the horrible service, and they put our food in right away. They understood our “el patron” order...

All of the staff was friendly from the front of the restaurant to back. Everyone was happy and enthusiastic. The place is clean with nice bar height table tops. 1 pool table and a few electronic dart machines. Several big TVs. We had the cheesesteak eggrolls for an appetizer. The PIB and bacon me crazy burgers for dinner. The eggrolls were great but the burgers were the best we have had in a restaurant. The beef is top quality, seasoned and cooked to perfection. Regardless of the toppings or sauce on each burger. The 1st thing you taste is the beef patty. They are super big patties and you will leave more fries on your plate so you can consume all the burger. Wished this place was...
