If I could leave zero stars I would. My husband and I have had a few phone screens replaced by this place and each time was great service…. Until today. My husband had his phone screen fixed last Monday aug. 19th and by Saturday his phone screen was making a popping sound, glitching and then ended up with a pink line down the middle of the screen that would not go away. He took the phone in this morning to have it redone, figuring it was just a defective screen replaced with. When my husband started explaining this to the young guy that works there, the guy became very defensive and told him it had clearly been “impacted” again. Basically calling my husband a liar. My husband let him know exactly how the line on the screen came about and the guy refused to listen. Then the manager came out, listened and had it fixed in no time. About 3 hours later, the line was back. When my husband took it in to show them it was back, the manager was gone and it was just the rude guy from before. He immediately started giving him attitude and telling him it was again from “impact” showing him 2 very surface level scratched on the back of the phone. Not the screen. He then told him “I’m not going to do this with you, you can take your business elsewhere”
If this is acceptable business practices at this store then I HIGHLY recommend getting your phone fixed elsewhere. I tried to go in and have him call the manager so I could speak to him and he refused. My husband is a veteran and it obvious due to the hat he wears and I find it disgusting that he was treated this way, not only as a member of this community but as a veteran that went to war twice. As a previous small business owner that knows how to treat people with kindness and integrity, I hope you get your...
Read moreI brought my Samsung phone to YouBreakIFix with a power button problem.
YouBreakIFix initially thought my phone needed a cleaning but found the power button was gone and Samsung had no replacement part for me to purchase from them.
I found a replacement part on Amazon and called YouBreakIFix and was told to bring by the part and they would install it ffree of charge because it would take a couple minutes. The tech was sincere and wanted to help me solve my problem. I was grateful.
When I dropped by with the aftermarket power button for installation the tech I spoke with was not there. The tech I was speaking to got cut off by a rather rude YouBreakIFix tech that kept repeating that YouBreakIFix can't help because my power button is not an original Samsung part.
I let him know one of his techs agreed to help me and that it would only take a couple minutes.
This rude guy refused again.
He didn't even introduce himself. I have no idea if he was in a position of authority to make that decision and over ride the decision by the previous tech that agreed to help.
His demeanor was poor. He obviously lacked training in how to handle customer problems in a respectful manner.
I managed a multiplatform customer support desk and would have been extremely unhappy had one of our clients been treated like I was treated.
So here we are. Rather than putting out very little effort to fix my problem in just a few minutes, YouBreakIFix gets a lost customer for life and a 1* review for other potential customers to...
Read moreNever bring something in for an assurant repair, If they break something in your phone and you bring it back for the warranty it only covers the part and no other damages they would have caused on entry. even after receiving my phone back there were gouges on the side from them prying the screen off without using enough heat, to top it off bringing it back to have them fix other issues that presented itself I was informed they will not do so and that I need to ship my phone in regardless and offered no other options on top of having shattered the previous screen so I couldn't use my phone. In the future I'll be going through dealers or providers so at the least I receive a functional phone in return or at least as functional as provided when I bring it back again. Prime example of you get what you pay for and I'd rather go to any other repair shop. Bright side bought a pixel 9 pro fold and this god awful experience was my justification for poor financial choices
Edit: if you're going to provide a worse than chatgpt corporate response provide a method of contact to speak...
