What has happened to Bojangles? To start off, when I walked in, there were only 2 people in the establishment who just placed their order. They walk by me to take a seat to wait for their food. About 5 mins waiting and no one acknowledging me, a young girl appears and says: you ready? No hello, no welcome to bojangles, no how are you. I have noticed this typical unprofessional attitude a lot for awhile. Sad but true. I proceed to ask for the 2 piece leg and thigh special that is being currently advertised, and not once, but 3 times I'm asked if I meant the 5.99 special. Seriously? What else would I mean?? My name is eventually called and just like I figured: the pieces of chicken were very small. I've experienced Bojangles pulling this crap before when they were advertising this special years ago when it used to be 4.99. It is not coincidence, it's happened too many times now. I feel as a customer this isn't fair and false advertising. You had to see the two pieces of chicken! Mostly skin and barely any meat. I've always been a fan of Bojangles for over 10 years now, but I'm done with the attitude, and skimpy pieces of chicken. Also, just like all these other updated fast food establishments, your dining room update looks horrible. The wooden chairs are extremely uncomfortable and long gone are the comfortable padded booths, padded chairs, and decore. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. It's really as simple as that. I truly hope this review makes an impact, but. I'm not holding my breath. It's a different world folks, and no one...
Read moreI went back to bojangles at 7:30 on 11-9-15 and who ever was working there definitely needs to be trained better. I can't believe what I have experienced tonight. This isn't the first time they have messed up my order. I come home to find my sandwich WITHOUT a piece of chicken in it, how do you forget that? So I go back to bojangles, and the two female employees act like I'm the one giving them a hard time. First of all, I should have been at home enjoying my food. Second, I get no sympathy at all. No apology, not even half of a decent attitude. She says she will make another one. When I check to see if it's right this time, the chicken is rock hard and feels like it is 5 hours old, and on top of that, the piece of tomato had MOLD. I was their only customer, so it's not like they had any excuse to be making mistakes left and right. I show the shift manager the molded tomato and tell her I will not eat this. I wasn't being a difficult customer, they should know how to make a sandwich. So she makes me another one and this time it's finally good, only took them 3 tries. I notice them complaining about me as I begin to leave, so I ask for the managers phone number. They say they can't give any information out. This was the worst experience I have ever had at ANY place, fast food or not. The two employees need to be taught how to make a sandwich, and how to properly treat customers. Even if they didn't make the sandwich, a normal person would have apologized. I do not see how bojangles can be proud of hiring such...
Read moreUnfortunately, today's experience wasn't good at all. For the first time in my life I had the person taking my order become extremely argumentative with me and my husband over 2 chicken biscuits. She misunderstood my order for the biscuits and instead of easily correcting this and moving forward, she insisted that I was in the wrong in the way that I stated my order and she was making sure to take no blame at all for not hearing my order the first time. My husband and I were in complete shock when we pulled forward to learn she was the STORE MANAGER, Ember. I was also given no receipt and I'm left to assume it was her way of preventing me from properly filing a complaint. This location is consistently our least favorite Bojangles in the area due to poor food quality compared to others in the area, but unfortunately it is the closest. We will likely drive past this location going forward. This horrible and threatening experience took place on 11/30/21 at 12:15 PM (no receipt given to time stamp accurately). I would hope the franchise owner(s) of this Renee Dr. location in Carolina Forest would be deeply disturbed by this store manager's actions and, at the very least, provide further training for this manager on how NOT to argue with customers over a biscuit. On a positive note, Mackenzie was very pleasant and friendly towards us as she witnessed this childish and embarrassing behavior. She should be trained to be "next level ready", maybe even a store...
