This is going to be quite long bc I don’t want to leave anything out, but I want to start off by saying I’ve been getting my nails done (with acrylic and designs) for over 4 years, so I kind of know what to expect when I go to get my nails done. This was only my second time here at this place. The first time I went I got a gel pedicure and a medium-length full set with a design for Christmas. They charged me $215, not including tip. In my experience, that’s completely insane, but I loved the work they did, so I decided to come back and give it another try, my mistake. This time was a disaster. When I went, it was relatively slow, only 3-4 other clients in there at most. I wanted to get a fill in and a gel pedicure. I picked the $45 express pedicure that is on their menu, and I believe they said the fill-in would also be $55, and maybe another $10 for design. They had a young man working on my toes and another young man doing my nails at the same time. I was sitting in the pedicure chair for over an hour and a half, and there was not even paint on my toes yet. The guy doing my hands was really nice but completely inexperienced. My nails were square shaped, when I asked for a coffin shape, and even showed a picture of exactly what I wanted. They are also completely uneven in length. Each of my fingers when compared to the other hand are about ¼ inch difference (yes I actually measured), it’s quite noticeable, and then my thumbs are also visibly shorter in length and disproportionate compared to the rest of my hand. Also, the application was very lumpy and bubbled. I asked the technician to even it out, and I guess he tried, but it didn’t fix anything. There were still indentations and imperfections I noticed in the acrylic, but by the time I realized, he was already looking for the colors. He apparently was going to just paint overtop of them. After this, again an hour and a half later, I asked for a break to go to the bathroom. Still no paint on my toes, and now a lumpy overlay on my nails. I am not a confrontational person, so I had to gather my nerves to stand up for myself. When I came back out, I told them respectfully I was dissatisfied with the service and that I wouldn’t like to continue. They apologized and asked me to tell their manager my grievances. She was working on someone, and when I explained why I wasn’t happy, she told me to just let them finish. I expressed that I was ready to leave and didn’t want that, and she proceeded to go back and forth with me quite rudely in front of the client she was working on until her client asked her to go up front and handle the rest of our conversation. I was expressing very calmly and somewhat nervously that I am really just wanting to leave and that there is not a way to fix the nails because they are so uneven and lumpy and that it’s been so long and I just want to leave. She tried to charge me full price, $50 for nails and $50 for toes, since “all they have left is to paint so they were practically done.” I then firmly told her that I was not paying full price for the quality of work and for unfinished work. After a few more minutes of the rude back and forth, she knocked the price down to $66.95 (which she claimed was half price). I just paid and left as I was tired of the spectacle.
I’m not sure what went on that day, like I said before, the first time I went, the work was beautiful. But definitely this experience has soured me from going back there ever again. I definitely do not...

From a LICENSED South Carolina nail tech I would NOT RECOMMEND going to this place especially if you care about your natural nails. I went there for a fill in a time crush and to relax while getting a pedicure and my 4 year old could have massaged my feet and legs better then that women. I wanted French on my toes for vacation and the polish was so thick that it just chipped off and I told her make sure she does not do it so thick because it will chip, she did what she wanted to do anyways. Then they insisted she do my fill in, and let me add that she did not have her own tools like drill, brush files nothing. And I knew as soon as she started that she had no idea what she was doing but yet they still insisted that she did it, which didn’t make any sense to me, especially since they were not busy. I showed her a very simple picture of what I wanted and I needed one nail taken off for lifting issues which did not get taken off. Then she put chrome on my nails which I did not ask for and charge me an extra $15 for it. When I got home, I realized every single nail was a different shape and size. They were so thick until my nails felt so heavy and hurt. I went back the next day to tell them to fix them the way that I wanted to a guy insisted that I come back and let her fix them when she was working again, I demanded no that they needed to be fixed today. He then gets upset sits down and starts filing my nails until there is no acrylic left on them and just paint gel polish over top of them that is uneven in the clearcoat is only on half of the nail, the next day I had to take them off and do the nails myself, the divots in my nails from them filing on my natural nail with the drill were so deep, that’s when I learned were The pain and discomfort were coming from. these people have no idea what they are doing. Take it from me if you care about your nail health do not go here. Not to mention the $140 i wasted going to to get a FILL IN AND A PEDICURE… let me add I have tried this place three times prior to this two of which I never had an issue but the other people I came with did but not as severely as this issue the owner was not there, nor were any responsible staff members there the guy that fixed my nails told me don’t worry I am fixing this for you for free, when I stated as you should, because I am not happy with what I got, and if my clients came back to me, I would fix them for free too. He then went on to say. But you are not my client and he was supposedly the one that opened the...
Read moreI called before I got there because I was unsure of when they closed on Sundays. The man on the phone told me 5pm so I got there at 3:45pm to ensure enough time to get my regular fill in and eyebrow wax. Jenny, the eyebrow technician, was AMAZING! 5 stars for her. However, Henry the nail technician, not so great. I wish I could give zero stars. From the minute I sit down, he’s criticizing me for getting regular polish instead of gel. Yes, there are people who still use regular polish. Then, he insults my nails saying that who ever did them before did a terrible job. I inform him it’s been a while since I’ve got them done and he murmurs something to himself. The whole time, he is rough with nails and he’s doing a halfway job as if he is rushing. The other nail tech who was in there starts trying to persuade me to get gel polish and I proceed to tell him that I am fine due to them charging too much for gel polish. He tells me it’s ONLY $15 more and I proceed to tell him that I’m fine with what I am getting. He tries to tell me that with regular polish it only lasts for a few days and I proceed to tell him it doesn’t, that I’ve been getting my nails done for years and I’ve had no problems. He finally gets the picture and he backs off. Awkward silence as Henry finishes my nails because you could tell he’s rushing to get me out of there. It’s about 4:30 when I go to pay before getting polish applied and sitting at the dryer so ample time before they close. He sits me at the dryer and starts turning off the music and turning the lights off slowly. I instantly felt rushed and uncomfortable. After about 10 mins he tries to tell me that my nails are dry. I know they aren’t so I poke at one of them to ensure that it’s not dry. About 5 mins goes by and he has on his coat and he comes back over to me. I ask “is there a problem? you all close at 5 right?!” And he goes “yeah but everyone else has went home and I want to go home too”. Just absolute poor customer service all the way around. I come here often and he usually is the rude one out of the bunch. I get home and realize my nails are uneven and the polish is bumpy. I don’t know if he did a piss poor job on purpose to prove that gel is better but this was a waste of $25! Don’t be open on Sundays if you don’t want to fully service people and don’t keep regular polish if you’re gonna shame people for getting it! I would not recommend coming here unless you’re getting eyebrow waxing or if you’re lucky enough to sit in Thu’s chair (she is amazing with her work and...
