Always love the annual fair the 2nd to last week of July. Truly one the last country fairs. Animals, rides, exhibits, fantastic crafts, quilts and photography. Vendor booths from local service clubs as well as commercial returning favorites. Still has that extra touch like.the 'ladies in waiting tent' for both the human and animals with plush seats out of the heat. And the annual pie baking content where the winner wins a new stove. But the fair goers win too. The rest of the pies are sold by the piece so every one can get a taste of a truly great pie. Would love it if more people came so they could do more music venues and get better rides. Come...

The Lonestar concert was great but the VIP options SUCKED, PARKING SUCKED, HAVING TO SMELL PEOPLES CIGARETTES AND MARIJUANA SUCKED AND DEALING WITH DRUNKS SUCKED. There should be limits put into place on the amount of alcohol consumed. Like someone writes names on paper at the booth and check marks every beverage. And a NO SMOKING policy in place like Josephine County Fair where it states NO SMOKING in public places of any kind where alcohol is being served cause it...
Read moreNo local food vendors and the prices were outrageous. The fairboard should not take so much overhead from local food vendors to encourage them with healthier choices. I chose to eat what I thought was a healthy choice (Chinese food) it was a grease bomb. There wasn't as many exhibits (floral, food and 4H) yet more people attending.
