Sisters' Salon & Spa — Local services in Nantucket

I had a bad experience at Sisters Salon in Nantucket. I spent 105$ on a manicure/ pedicure, the nailest dropped a glass polish jar next to me and it splattered everywhere! All over my white shorts and white new T-shirt. I should've left then and refused to pay, but felt sorry for the inexperienced girl and let her do my manicure, she also had no idea how to do a french manicure. She tried to dab the polish out in my shorts but just spread it around. After the manicure I go check out hoping for some sort of compensation, but none was given. I'll Never go back to this salon, I'll find another one that cares more about their clients than her pocket book. Bad decision...

Communication barrier which led to me being at the salon for a manicure for almost 2 hours. I wanted a gel manicure the description did not say nor did the nail girl state it would be $15 extra to take off the polish. I should have known better considering all of the misspellings on the website. I was worked on by 2 different women for whatever reason. The first one didn’t seem to have any clue as to what she was doing. The second took over and while she did a decent job not exactly a manicure when a spray bottle is used to wet your hands and a 1 minute massage. Also the idea of a French manicure seemed very confusing to them. Not the relaxing massage...

I don’t want to write a bad review but I feel like I have to. I got a haircut going in just wanting layers and face framing layers so shorter front pieces. She took way too much hair from one side and too much in general and chopped it all off. I was unaware at the time how much she ruined the front pieces of my hair. At least I had a good laugh out of it with my friends. But I had to go to another salon and cut full bangs which wasn’t my goal. I am in no way saying she is incapable of giving a good haircut (the woman before me looked great) but I want to warn people that they need to be extra descriptive with...
