Customer service was kind and patient. The quality of the rental was standard. My recommendation is for families to request specific details regarding delivery and pick up fees. We spent $40.00 on a crib rental for 4 nights and had $50.00 worth of delivery fees. At the time we rented the crib, the company explained there would be a $10.00 delivery fee and $10.00 pick up fee.
They also informed us about an in person/setup and in person/take down fee ($10.00 each). We agreed to this fee (now totaling $40.00 in delivery fees), but it was explained to us that someone from Twinkle Twinkle Little Store would be setting up and taking down the crib upon delivery and pick up. The reality of what happened was that our bell hop brought up the crib and incorrectly set it up. So the service fee we thought we were playing for did not align with the service we received, nor was it provided by the company we were paying. For take down, the email says to bring the crib to the bell hop upon check out. So again, not a service provided by the company. When I called to ask for the additional $20.00 set up fee be removed Twinkle Twinkle Little Store explained it's due to the location we're staying and is a required charge. Therefore, it's a required $20.00 to deliver and $20.00 to pick up.
Additionally, at the time we rented the crib, they did not explain that if we do not meet a $50.00 minimum in rental equipment purchases that we would be charged an additional $10.00 delivery surcharge fee. The final cost was $40.00 for the crib, and $50.00 of delivery fees. Had the services been more throughly explained when we set up the rental, or had I known to ask such detailed questions, we would have opted for the free pack and play crib offered...
Read moreI stopped in here during a recent family trip to Naples. For such an unassuming storefront I was absolutely AMAZED at how big the inside was. They have a wonderful selection of items; from infant to big kid you'll find SOMETHING to take home in here. Our hotel was a stone's throw away and our son wanted some "pool stuff". We loaded him down with toys, water wings, and other "water stuff" and were kind of shocked that everything ended up being so affordable. I really liked the atmosphere as well. It seems the staff are allowed to bring their children in which I thought was such an amazing thing for this children's boutique to do for their employees. It shows that the owner's care for their staff along with the well-being of their families. Even with a small handful of kids hanging out with their parents, the staff was ready, available, knowledgeable, friendly, and more than willing to help us with a number of questions we had. My only disappointment was that we didn't find the time to come back and let our son play on the play area they have in the store. This place is truly a little hidden gem and I wish we had something like this where I'm from. Next time we're in Naples we will definitely give Twinkle Twinkle Little Store another visit (albeit this time a...
Read moreI have always enjoyed shopping at the Twinkle store because they have a lot of unique items and they generally carry a lot of stuff! Any baby or child equipment, such as toys, I always come here first. They have done a lot of improvements over the past year, including a new two story play area for the children. The only thing that I dislike about this store is the fact that employees or volunteers can bring their children to the store and leave them completely unsupervised while they run amok and play with the merchandise. I have always found that to be incredibly unsafe and a giant distraction because these children treat the store like a playground. I have absolutely nothing against bringing your child to work with you, but when they disrespect actual customers trying to shop, then I have a problem with that. Using the excuse, "Well, they're only children." Well no, you're bringing them to your workplace and they need to show respect for customers who are there to spend money at the store. I have actually left the store before, leaving what I was planning on purchasing on a shelf somewhere, because the children that were there, (not customers, but children of the employees) were being too hectic and nothing was being done to...
