I hate leaving bad reviews but feel it's important for potential customers to hear what's not so great about where they spend their money. Let's start from the top-my husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak skillet, which I double checked-is indeed on the menu. It was also on their specials board. When our food arrived, the young waitress brought him a cheesesteak sandwich and explained "I think there was some confusion, our specials menu should have said panini, not skillet. We don't have a cheesesteak skillet." ???? Why on earth would she not clarify that before putting the order in and bringing us our food?? It was 9 am, we went there for breakfast, not a lunch sandwich. Additionally I was only drinking water with my breakfast. I finished my glass and put it out in plain view for our waitress. Five minutes passed and still no refill, so I had to turn around and find her, make eye contact with her to get her attention. She went to the table next to us and as she passed I politely asked her for more water. The pecan waffle was not good, either. Hate to say it but we will never be back! Also, the coffee is horrible. We are still laughing..who brings a completely different order to a customer without first clarifying??? I felt like I was in the twilight zone. If you want GREAT food for fairer pricing (Skillets is totally overpriced) try EJ's bayfront cafe. Their food...
Read moreReviews took us here, not again! Took forever to place our order: 2 eggs scrambled and toast (off the sides menu), a bowl of steel-cut oatmeal (said never the quick kind), and an English Muffin. I was told the rye was marbled, it wasnât, menu said 2 slices but got 1(and paid more than half what 2 cost), the oats may not have been âquickâ but they certainly werenât as expected, more like several days old mush. We received two pads of butter for a piece of toast & an E.M. and along with the oatmeal about 2 tsps. brown sugar and maybe an 1/8 cup of milk for on them. We asked for more coffee creamer & never got it, & went to the kitchen to ask for more butter because our server disappeared OR would do several other tasks before getting what we needed to enjoy our meal. Maybe Skillet is better for other breakfast foods but the simple, hard to screw up stuff, not so good. Frankly, we should have saved $15 and just gone to McDonalds for their 2 for 4...

One thing that Skillets needs to do is take the option of curbside pick up off their website. As the employeeâs have been told by management that this option is no longer available, I noticed a little annoyance in tone when I called to let them know I was there for curbside. My order was brought out to me and I was passed along a message from the manager stating that curbside is no longer available and not to expect it again. I explained that I didnât just expect it, that curbside was an option when I placed the order on their website. I suggested that if that option is no longer available, they should take the option off their website site so that there is no confusion. I was told that she would let the manager know and they would see if it could be...
