My recent visit to Newroz Market in Nashville was a delightful experience that took me on a culinary journey through Middle Eastern flavors. The store, nestled in the heart of Nashville, exudes authenticity and warmth, making it a haven for food enthusiasts and home cooks alike.
One of the highlights of my visit was the enticing aroma of freshly baked bread that welcomed me as I entered the store. The selection of fresh bread at Newroz Market is simply outstanding – soft on the inside with a perfect crust on the outside, it was a true testament to their commitment to quality.
I also indulged in their diverse cheese section, and the Feta cheese stood out with its rich and tangy flavor. Paired with some of their fresh walnuts and drizzled honey, it made for a heavenly combination. Speaking of nuts, their assortment of almonds was of exceptional quality, adding a delightful crunch to my dishes.
Newroz Market boasts a remarkable variety of jams, and I couldn't resist trying a few. Each jar was bursting with natural fruit flavors, making my breakfasts a treat every morning. The staff at Newroz Market are knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to assist in finding the perfect ingredients. The ambiance of the store, coupled with the authenticity of their products, makes it a must-visit for anyone passionate about Middle Eastern cuisine.
In summary, my experience at Newroz Market was nothing short of delightful. If you are in Nashville and looking for high-quality Middle Eastern ingredients, a visit to Newroz Market is a culinary adventure you won't want to miss. I'll certainly be returning to explore more of their offerings and savor the tastes of the Middle East right here...

I am white, and this is a middle eastern store, maybe they favor others.
Who knows?! I’m very well diverse, I don’t see colors, I see culture. I won’t be...
Read moreHand carved rotisserie shawarma chicken or beef then grilled, placed into a homemade pita with lettuce, tomatoes, banana peppers, pickles and grilled again! It’s similar to a Greek gyro. The meat is made from fresh cuts daily, then stacked on a vertical spit and can be carved while it is cooking. It was juicy and delicious! They have refrigerated cases full of soft drinks and you can eat it there! I am so glad I got to try it. They also have an International market, fresh baked pita, and baked desserts! We prefer the chicken shawarma over the beef because the quality is more consistent. Both are listed as #9 on the menu posted...
