DO NOT MOVE HERE. I lived here for seven months and there wasn’t a single day of enjoyment. From day one when i got my keys the apartment was FILTHY. dead roaches all through the apartment and in my fridge. left over trash from previous tenants, STRONG mold smell from the bathroom and under the sink to the point of giving me headaches. i probably put in 8 pest control orders and idk what they sprayed but it NEVER worked. i killed a minimum of five roaches every day AND babies roaches. there were also spiders, ants, and never ending fruit flies. They don’t take work orders seriously and it doesn’t matter which “priority” you mark it as. My smoke detectors were sounding off at 1 and 3 in the morning and they didn’t see that as a pressing issue. not to mention their “security” is non existent and there is CONSTANT noise at the complex. there is always someone blaring music or screaming down the halls or cars revving in the parking lot. There were several car break ins, one happened to a guest at my house and car alarms blade at least once a week. The pool is a joke and is “closed for cleaning” on Mondays but the one time i used it i got sick. the breezeways are always filled with people’s garbage…and i don’t mean trash and i mean literal garbage. wrappers, prices of carpet, empty beer cans. there’s always broken glass in the street and on the side walk too. They have no clue who does and doesn’t have a pet on property either. In the first few months i lived here, my dog was attacked by a pitbull that raced at her from a nearby apartment and the leasing office said they had no record of the dog in property. To be honest, I was fortunate to find Emerson Apartments at the time that I did; therefore, proving to be a blessing. A house that I lived in for almost 10 years was being sold. Thus, under that scenario, I could not have asked for better timing. Since I have been here, the staff has shown patience and even sincere kindness, which, in turn, has helped me under some tough circumstances. There is a very sustained and good effort to maintain the appearance of the property, recently adding trees and flowers to the entrance of the property. This location has access to 3 interstates: I-65, I-24, and I-40, notwithstanding Briley Parkway as well. There is also direct access to the Airport, via Donelson Pike, which is valuable to me as an Uber driver. There is an abundance of shopping and restaurants in the area as well, indeed, too much to mention in this review. In summary, under my personal circumstances, I certainly view my residency here as a blessing, and would definitely recommend Emerson to anyone who is sincerely looking for a...

Just don't live here. Staff is awful. They never answer you. Never call back. Nothing. I've had plumbers here 5 times within less than 3 months living here. At one point I had sewage backing up in my kitchen sink for 5 days. 5 days! I made a maintenance request twice, called twice. Once left a message and once actually talked to someone. Still no one came to fix it. Finally I called the emergency line. Was told "it wasn't technically and emergency" because by that time it was after hours. He did come fix it, but not til the next day. They raised the rent $30 and claim its for a "fixed rate water bill". That's not what I signed when I signed my lease here. I dunno on what planet one person in a 700 square foot apartment uses $30 worth of water a month, but it ain't this one. On top of that I've had the water run out nasty brown stuff or is really murky looking. They often shut the water off without notice for a couple of hours. All in all this place is just a...
