My husband was attacked by two men who work at tootsies, while at tootsies. They ran off and my husband and I stayed and contacted the police. We met them about a block away because that’s what we were told to do. The police said they would go to tootsies and see if there was video and talk to people there. They said they would call with updates but if I didn’t hear back to just call them. We never did hear back so I called and called and called. I’ve left 5 or 6 messages with no call back. The report they wrote up was garbage saying neither attacker was there and even though the employees there said they didn’t see what happened they assumed my husband was in the wrong. How do you even put that in a report? Oh their co-workers are siding with them even tho they didn’t see what happened? Shocking. Most shocking of all is we are 4 months since the incident happened and we brought it up to a friend. She is friends with some people at tootsies. She brought it up to them and they talked to management about it. No cop had ever talked to any manager there about the incident or getting video or anything. They really dropped the ball for us. Yes big picture this is a small thing that happened in a big city but to us it was huge. My husband comes from an abusive home so has anxiety and ptsd as it is and now he is a victim of a random attack in a city and the attackers just got to run off. He also ended up with thousands in medical bills because of this attack. It’s crazy to know we live in a city where the cops don’t care and let the bad guys do what they want and get...
Read moreOne of the most disturbing police videos I've ever seen. Cop tells woman to look up the statute on when she has to ID. Said he has reasonable suspicion because he hasn't seen her vehicle in the parking lot before. Said she was obligated to talk to him because he's a police officer. I know police training isn't very long but how could you come out of the academy not knowing such basic laws as to when someone has to ID. How do you not know what reasonable articulable suspicion of a CRIME is? Suspicious does not give you the right to id. "policy follows the law" this cop said more incorrect statements in this 15 min video than any other one I've ever seen. The worst part is this cop really thought he was right and knew what he was talking about and he's there training another cop. Call her a sovereign citizen because she knew the law better than he did. What a joke, really hope this guy's superiors educate him on the state statutes and how wrong he was about everything he said. Blows my mind how ignorant some of these cops are out there. And Sergeant Craig sure could have corrected him on the phone call but chose to take the easy way out and didn't even show up. For the taxpayer's sake, I hope this ignorant cop gets an education as he's a walking lawsuit waiting to happen. So smug the whole time too. It's so easy to look up the law as well. He thinks just cause he gets away demanding ID from ignorant citizens he can do it to anyone he wants for any reason. I mean come on, he actually said you're obligated to speak to him...
Read moreCountry Music Star Conner Smith hit and killed a woman that was using the Pedestrian Right of way. Nashville Police Department Officers didn't impound his truck and didn't take his cellphone. I wonder if Nashville Police Officers bothered to clean that woman's blood off the truck before Connor Smith left. Police Officers aren't known for carrying more than a couple of bottles of water with them at a time. Police Officers also stated Connor Smith wasn't intoxicated or distracted but the woman was clearly visible. So if Connor Smith wasn't distracted then how did he hit her with his truck? If he wasn't distracted then it implies that Connor Smith saw the woman and then...
