Neighborhood Health at Welshwood — Local services in Nashville-Davidson

Wanted to get a easy and fast check up and was told about this clinic. First walking in I noticed that they have FREE can goods and perishable items also boxed milked and vegetables For patients immediately 5 stars …. Noticed that this clinic serves medical assistance to a lot of Hispanics because of the lobby waiters and the different signs all over the business. Spoke to the front desk ladies who I must say was extremely excited to see me and very helpful with the easy I must say new patient forum. They where out of appointments but I guess with any business if your kind and Polite they will always go over and beyond to help you. I was Seen by a nurse and I’m glad I followed my first mind and gave this amazing clinic a try. Don’t judge a book by its cover is what I would call this medical facility...

Extremely bad patient-provider communication. This clinic made me waste my time twice in 2 weeks. First they tell me they do take new patients. I show up for my appointment, they inform me that the provider was not present due to an emergency and they didn’t even care to message or call me to let me know. They rescheduled me for another time in which the provider was gonna be present, for them to tell me that provider does not take new patients? Why would they schedule me to begin with then? I do not have any complaints with the actual employees, they are nice and well mannered, but their very messed up system and their lack of communication and advocacy for their patients, and new patients is unbelievable. I would not recommend this...

Very disappointed! I drove all the way from Clarksville Tn which is like an hour and forty min away only to be rejected. I was about 12 min late but I thought these clinics wore here to help out people and be more considered. I had my four year old son with me and I needed to see an Obgyn unfortunately the receptionist called the doctor and the doc said she couldn’t see me due to be being late! I waited a month to be come here and it’s not like I intended to be late there was a traffic accident on the freeway and I was very upset after I was turned down to be seen. I’m already 4 months pregnant and this would of been my first OB appointment but it didn’t get...
