Update: Kelly called us both and apologized and made everything right. We all make mistakes, and what matters is how we handle them. Glad to see this company take their reviews seriously and reach out to us.
My husband and I shopped several stores for our patio furniture Saturday August 31st, and decided we had to have the furniture we picked out at Simply Patio. We returned and purchased our furniture the next day. Our sales representative, Kelly, let us know that we could have everything delivered Friday September 6th. The only exception was the ottoman cushion that would take a couple of weeks to come from Arizona and we would be notified when it was available. Our furniture did arrive Friday Sept 6th as promised. However, one of the chairs was scratched up. My husband pointed it out to the delivery driver and informed him that we wanted it replaced. This is where our first disappointment occurred. A new chair was sent to the house to replace the scratched one, but we did not receive a phone call until the driver was in our driveway. Neither of us were at home at the time, but luckily the porch was unlocked and the chair could be replaced. Now, back to that ottoman cushion, we waited until Tuesday, Sept 17th and had not heard from anyone. So I called the Nashville location where we made our purchase to follow up. No one answered the phone so I left a detailed message. My call went unreturned Tuesday and Wednesday. So Thursday my husband called again, and was told that the cushion was in the warehouse in Lavergne. He was told that he could either pick it up tomorrow 9/20 or have it delivered next Tuesday 9/24. He asked if he could go pick it up today and the employee told him that the warehouse had to have a 2 hour notice and they closed in an hour and 45 minutes. After being put on hold, he came back to the phone and stated that he could pick up the cushion today. The lack of communication and poor customer service is very disappointing for the amount of money we invested in your company. We still have a couple of items we're waiting to purchase after we saw how our new furniture fit into our space, and will now be taking our business elsewhere due to our experience. The sales representative did not follow up after she received...
Read moreWe paid Paddy O’ $7963.40 on April 2 for sunroom furniture for our 2nd home, 1 1/2+ hours from Nashville. They’ve had our money for months. The salesman said we’d have delivery by Memorial Day. Then he called and said 1 chair was on back order, but we’d have all by July 4. Then, before leaving the company, he said August for the back ordered chair. Then the manager told my wife late September or early October on the chair, but scheduled delivery of the remainder for July 19. I drove up late July 18 to be there for morning delivery. At 11:00 a.m. we received a call saying the delivery truck broke down, so no delivery. I made the 1 1/2+ hour drive back to Nashville. When I returned home I called the store and asked to speak to the manager. I was told he was not in town, but the young man said he would get a message to him and have him call me. He asked if he could help, and I told him what had just happened. Instead of taking any responsibility or accountability, he told me it wasn’t their fault because they use a third-party delivery service. I did not hear from the store manager until several days later. Re-delivery was scheduled for the following Thursday. On Thursday the delivery truck arrived. We had received a large delivery from Sprintz Furniture several weeks prior. Identical size trucks. Our long driveway is bordered on both sides by a stone wall. The Sprintz driver was careful and meticulous, made the delivery, then left it as it was before he arrived. The Paddy O’ Driver commented upon arrival that he had knocked over several of the stones, but he would re-stack them before he left. When they did leave, I walked down the driveway only to find they had knocked down about 1/4th of our stone wall. It took hours to fix it, at my expense. Needless to say, this has not been a...
Read moreSo I had never heard of or been to Paddy O’s furniture, a sales rep referred me there because no one carries outdoor furniture in TN anywhere, meaning that it is the primary focus. Everywhere I went the outdoor furniture looked cheap and nothing comes with a warranty or atleast a good one. So I walk in this morning and Myles Murphy greeted me with a nice firm hand shake and made me welcome! I live in the country and respect that very much! Within 5 minutes or less we were hanging out on the outdoor couch. He had shown me and the amazing products in which the company is known for and the demonstrations were amazing as well, I’m super excited about the water proof and fully dyed material, it’s gonna look like it does in the store for a long long time! I’d say within 20-30 minutes we had my entire new outdoor area figured out and it was a done deal! When I was leaving I asked if they work and got commission, I was happy to hear yes, because this guy is the best and deserves absolutely everything coming to him! He didn’t treat me like he needed to make a sale and that’s big for me, I wanted to know I could trust him and what he was saying not just trying to make a sale, I could tell he was passionate about the company and was excited for the future growth. If he would come work construction, I’d hire & steal him today! He’s just that guy you can trust, and I felt like Ive known him forever! Regardless if you want the best experience and top quality outdoor furniture, go to Paddy O’s furniture and ask for Myles!!! God bless you buddy and thank you so much for helping me give my wife and kids the most amazing outdoor area to enjoy!!! Thanks again...
