The Makers Loft — Local services in Nelsonville

My friend told me about this place and I finally got to check it out. This is a super fun little shop! If you want to find a gift for someone, you can likely find one here. There's a little bit of something for everybody in here.

There was a lot of cool jewelry, tye dye, necklaces, hats, anatomically correct soaps, the list goes on.

I came for the soap, and I left with the soap. I wanted to leave with so much more.

The guys running the place are super nice, and were a hoot to talk to. If you have a sense of humor and a pulse there is something here for you.

Only been there a couple times, but it was enough for me to know the owners are very kind people. My friend has been there more than me and every time we tried to go there, it seemed closed, not an issue to me because of what 2020 and 2021 has been like with businesses. But the first time I went inside the owner told us that if you come up and the door is locked, just message them on Facebook and they'll come down and unlock the door because they live right upstairs. Downtown Nelsonville is full of amazing shops but a great new kid on the block is The Makers Loft. The crafts and goods are amazing. This is one of those craft stores that you can feel the love and passion that the artist has put into his and her work. The feel of the store is warm and welcoming as well.
