Father White is one of the few holy priests that you can find now-a-days. He runs the church, and the parish, with a firm, authentically Catholic hand. Confessions are twice a week. I am amazed at the line of people no matter what day you go. That says a lot about the priest and parishioners of this church. He leads a Latin Mass on Wednesdays and once on Sunday. There is a Holy Hour every Wednesday. The first and third Saturdays of the month there are 12 hours of adoration. He has moved the tabernacle to the front of the church behind the altar, as it should be. I am thankful to God to have placed me in this parish, which is lead by such a holy priest. Some people have grumbled because he does not allow alter servers, eucharistic ministers, or a band during service. I totally understand the reason behind each decision. My teenage sons and I have felt drawn to attend the Tridentine Mass, and SMQOC is only 15 minutes from home, so we decided to give the 1 p.m. Sunday TLM a try. I had forgotten what it was like to go to Mass where everyone is attentive and the reverence is palpable.
