Gruene General Store — Local services in New Braunfels

We were there to celebrate with family a wedding. We all went our own way to see the beautiful town of gruene. Me and my grandson stepped in to get ice cream and buy the cute items they sell. the guy working on April 27,2024, was so discriminating to me, I couldn’t believe his behavior. I just took a deep breath and asked God to help me before I go and discipline this poor behaved kid or man against me, he is lucky I had my grandson present. I left without spending anything in that store and informed everyone that was in our group of 40 about my treatment, no one visited that store. Fun store, lots to look at. Many free samples to try, although I would be worried some kid licked every sample stick as they are at a low height and easily accessible to that kid we all have seen do it at least once in our lives. --update, I did not see the sample sticks anymore. Maybe I just missed them. Anyhow, ice cream was great, and there is something for everyone in here. Check it out. We loved this town and this was our favorite store!! The Bob Ross memorabilia and the selection of goodies jam packed into this historic store along with friendly, courteous employees smiling and enjoying their career there made it so fabulous! Worth the Sunday afternoon drive to shop and giggle at all the quirky funny little sayings throughout the store. I mailed some post cards back home and have mine for the memories later too.
