Gruene Pumpkin Patch — Local services in New Braunfels

We've been here before for putt putt and thought the entry fee was very fair - $15/ person. We went by this evening to just take a few pumpkin patch photos with my dog, and we saw there was a line for putt putt. We then saw others entering through the other gate to just take photos with the pumpkins. When we walked through to try to figure out where to get in for the pumpkins, we were chased down by a male employee and yelled at in front of probably 50+ people. When we asked where the entry and tickets were for the pumpkin patch, he said we would have to pay the putt putt fee to take any photos. We said never mind because $60 for 4 people take maybe 10 minutes of photos is ridiculous, and he screamed out, "You can either pay or leave!"

Incredibly rude experience that could've been mitigated by customer service and nicely explaining that there was one set rate for everything even if you're not golfing. We will not be returning and certainly won't recommend to anyone else. Gruene used to be such a fun small town, and now it's overcrowded and turning into every other city with a total lack of care for customers...

Need to fix their advertising! We originally went to this pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin for our child. The location was described as a pumpkin patch with mini golf and a train ride. At first, we thought this was a great idea to combine fun activities, photo opportunities with the fun of choosing a pumpkin to purchase. My child was very excited to pick their pumpkin too. But when we asked about pricing and purchasing, the ticket person informed us that they had no pumpkins for sale?! Why call yourselves a pumpkin patch if you are not selling pumpkins! Other aspects of the location were nice but we could not move past this false advertising! My child was so upset they couldn’t choose a pumpkin, and for the cost we thought it was high too given how crowded it was. We will not...

Card only, we had pulled cash thinking we could get in that way. They say $15 per person but because it's card only it comes closer to $17 per person. Then they were advertising to leave a review for a free mini pumpkin but the QR codes were disabled and misleading. Only giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because the teen I took got some nice pictures and my toddler had a good time spinning herself silly, otherwise parking was horrible and if your not from the area it was easy...
