As I collected gifts for my sons, I was then informed that next door at their sister store, The Pomegranate, I would continue my shopping experience for the female presence in my life. As I rounded the front of the store, thinking I would check out, I was captivated by the knife case. As I bent down, I heard the friendly voice of an associate named Chad. If I was only convinced that I needed one new knife, Chads extensive knowledge of each masterpiece, in that case, changed my mind. My son and I stopped by for the first time and it was well worth the visit. The staff was welcoming and regularly checked to see if we needed any help with any of their products. The shop carries a great assortment of the outdoor products we are all familiar with, great brands and high quality gear. The staff delivered great customer service. Overall we had an excellent experience. The fly fishing shop is well stocked and you can find everything from a tiny mosquito fly to a complete fly fishing setup, including a guided fishing service if needed. The pro fishing guide offered great advice and answered all of our questions. He was very helpful and not only to us but most importantly to another customer who was new to fly fishing and was asking questions about the equipment needed to get started in fly fishing. We love having the outfitter here near the house. My only complaint is that they never, and I mean never have mens small sizes and small numbers of men’s medium. I asked a salesperson and they said, “we order 1 small per order”. If you have mostly XL and XXL sizes on the rack, it seems that would prompt ordering more of the sizes that go early and less of the sizes that always seem to be left over.
