King of Budz - Cannabis Dispensary New Buffalo — Local services in New Buffalo Township

Let me just start by saying , I’m the furthest thing from someone who would take their time to write a complaint . But after how I was treated yesterday in this establishment, I refuse to be quiet . Before making my 1 hour and 15 minute drive to this establishment after a long day of work, I called ahead . The purpose of this call, was to make sure that I would be serviced , as my eta was close to their closing time. I was assured by a young lady working reception that I would be serviced as long as I was in the doors before 9. So with that information, I decided to make the drive . I placed my order for pickup online and all I had to do was pretty much pull the cash and pay. I arrived at 8:42 . As soon as I walked in , I was greeted to two women cleaning the lobby area . Before I could get a word out they attempted to turn me away , and refuse service . I explained that I had just called and was told that as long as I was in the doors before by 9 I would be serviced . By their faces I could tell that it was one of them whom I spoke to. They both acted clueless , and went to get a manager . I waited for about 5 minutes , and was rushed by two men. One with long blonde hair , and another darker complexion man, who I assumed was the manager. The manager , decided to come out with a very aggressive tone which I checked immediately, as I didn’t have a combative tone and I demand the respect I give in any situation. I proceeded to explain to him what happened , and his response was , we close our doors at 8:45 I have it on the window of the door . My response was that is totally fine and acceptable if that’s their policy , but they should train their staff to inform that on the phone , and he even agreed with me . How could someone know what’s posted on your front door over the phone ? After about 5 minutes of him painfully attempting to get me to leave , he finally agreed to help. He told me that since my order was online , he would go get it from the back from me and service me . I was instructed to pull out cash from my account , which I did . After pulling out the cash, I stood around waiting for maybe 10 minutes . As I was waiting another staff member came and started kicking out everyone who was in line. I was approached by a female employee asking me “ how did I get in” and telling me I had to leave . I explained that the manager had told me he would take care of me for the discrepancy. The manager then , emerged from the back and said he never let me inside . Then when I brought up how he said he would get my order his response was “ I said I would try, I went to the back and their is no more order pickers on staff . “ and then proceeded to tell me to come back in the morning . I tried to reiterate my point calmly at that, and was cut off rather quickly and rudely and was told that I could either come back in the morning or have the police called on me . I left , and didn’t cause issue , even tho you guys had about 5 other customers who were rudely put out , yelling and fighting back. An hour and a half of my life and gas waisted to be treated like crap. I ended up driving an additional 34 minutes to DoJa. They serviced me so politely and even gave me a huge 50 percent discount . I would love the shop at king of budz as you guys carry lots of things you can’t find anywhere else , but your staff literally has left the most sour taste in my mouth. 6/15. What. no Fathers Day hand outs for dads? Wow. A key ring would have been nice. lol. Anyway. Wife picked ⬆️ some bud. Taylor was helpful. Listened to our wants and was very sweet. Helped hubs with couple pre rolls We were in and out! Another great budtender experience! Happy SUNday!

What an experience! You walk in the doors and are immediately in awe over your first impression of the store. Amazing doesn’t even describe it. You enter the sales room and see multiple Bud tenders ready to help you Our guys was Andy. He was fantastic and knew the products. I told him what i wanted and he delivered. Fast, personable service and a free first time customer gift. Well definitely be back! Thanks Andy!

UPDATE* We came back. Again and again. Love this place!! Easy in and out. Even if you have to wait, fellow stoners are easy to talk with while waiting in line. I waited for Andy and he did not disappoint. Greeted me back and said glad to see you! He filled my order and explained what I was getting. I told him we look to see if he is working and happily wait for him in line He thanked me for my generous tip which is nice to be recognized when tipping. I’ll tip Andy extra as he never disappoints my expectations. KOB needs to have a budtender of the month recognition. And a senior discount would be great as well as letting my under $100 sales add up for rewards. Best dispensary by far. First time buying here yesterday and I usually go to Buchanan and the concentrates are good there. This location is terrible at least in dealing with the store and the product. First off the product I ordered was changed out before I got there and a sativa which I don't smoke was replaced into my buy for my indica wax jar, I then replaced my order with diamonds that the guy at the counter couldn't even figure out if it was hybrid sativa or indica. I don't get very high with the concentrates, the disposable vape pens aren't getting me high and they burn my nose and throat. Oh the so called diamonds, they are nothing but weak live sugar. If you have had anything from California then you'll understand how bad fake and weak some of the content can be. This matches that. If I were you take the extra time and go to Buchanan for all your needs.

Update, Hey Mr owner? Unless you are refunding my money then you are wasting my time. I don't care if you want to make it right now. Maybe you should have your store right. I didn't get my first time buyer freebies either and it was your guy at the register who mentioned it and never gave it to me. If you people care for your lung or body don't buy these imitation the products. How are you going to sell live sugar as diamonds and it's not even marked on the jar as to what it is. PEOPLE!!!
