Pioneer Valley Country Store — Local services in New Glarus

This summer I had the opportunity to test an ebike from Pioneer Valley Outdoor store in New Glarus, Wisconsin. I enjoy riding bikes, but at my age (70), I have found that even small hills are challenging, and walking-riding was not as fun. The first thing I noticed when I got on the bike was how comfortable it was. My concern, however, was, that when I pushed the speed button (with 5 speeds) I would lose control. However, I found that it was very safe, as the pedaling moderates the speed at every level. When we returned to New Glarus, after a wonderful ride on the trail, my daughter wanted to try riding it up a huge hill on the main street, which according to her was “a beast”. A very appropriate name, I found out. I pushed the button to 3, 4 and finally 5 and I was able to make it uphill, with no problem. No more walking the bike up a hill. I highly recommend the Pioneer Valley Outdoor store in New in New Glarus, and the very good ebikes they carry. ...

My wife and I would like to thank Jase Ely, owner of Pioneer Valley Outdoor Store in New Glarus, Wisconsin. Jase was the only Marin dealer within 300-plus miles of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin to truly help us secure the Marin Kentfield 2 bike step through in the green medium size, she wanted. This Saturday we picked up the bike from Pioneer Valley, where my wife became teary eyes and very happy. I would like to encourage everyone to support this man and his new venture in New Glarus. The Marin bike and Jase at the Pioneer Valley Outdoor Store was well worth the long drive, plus the city of New Glarus added to the wonderful experience. Rented a couple e-bikes for some non-biking friends who wanted to go biking on the Sugar River Trail with us. The staff was VERY helpful and accommodating--they worked our reservation around the weather, got the bikes individually adjusted, and (patiently!) explained to our friends how the bikes worked. We had a great time on the trail and would HIGHLY recommend Pioneer Valley Outdoor Store...
