The Blanc Chalet — Hotel in New Glarus

My wife and I are celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary. We planned a last minute getaway to see one of our favorite Blues bands The Jimmy’s at Tofflers Pub & Bar in New Glarus ( a different 5 star review for both the band and venue at a later time). We needed a place to stay in New Glarus last minute and I found the Blanc Chalet. The reviews were all great and I can see why. The King Deluxe room we have is a combination of retro and rustic feel. We felt right at home when we walked through the doors. The room was clean and appealing. The location is prime to get to anything in town. I also got messages from Melissa who is one of the owners checking in on us which is a great personal touch. We checked in yesterday and originally were going to check out today. We booked for another day and are now going to check out the sights in this cute little town. I would highly recommend The Blanc Chalet. See you again.

We had the pleasure of staying at The Blanc Chalet in New Glarus for their Oktoberfest celebration, making the drive from Milwaukee. This was our 3rd year in a row attending the event, as well as our 3rd year in a row staying at the previously named Swiss-Aire Motel, now called The Blanc Chalet. The improvements in both the newly remodeled rooms as well as the customer service are tremendous. Joyce and Melissa were an absolute pleasure to interact with, both on the phone and via email. Everyone was also very friendly in person. And the upgrades they've made to some of the rooms were very well done. We stayed in a King Suite with a jet tub. Everything was clean, tidy and comfortable. And the easy walk to downtown New Glarus (5 minutes) makes this location ideal. I cannot wait to see the additional changes that I'm sure will continue to come. Keep up the good work, can't wait...

Mom always said, "Don't judge a book by its cover!" WoW! What an incredible quaint motel!!!!

We stayed in the king deluxe room. I cannot say enough good things about our room!! It was cute as heck, so clean, and very inviting!!! Whoever remodeled & decorated this room, "high five!!" We had a peaceful night's sleep thanks to the wonderful bed. And let's talk about the cute coffee shop that is just steps away from your door! So convenient, and the coffee was awesome!!!

We booked this motel on a whim as we planned a last minute weekend trip to New Glarus. I made the reservation over the phone due to a technical difficulty on the motel website, which was no biggy. The person who took my call was great!! Within minutes of booking the room, I had an instant confirmation.

We will be back to New Glarus this summer, and there is absolutely no doubt that we will be staying at this quaint...
