This is place is a gem! Our food was fantastic. We came in for brunch and ordered the cinnamon donuts ("holes") with caramel sauce (a special). They were served hot out of the fryer and dipped in ample cinnamon and sugar. These were a true treat! My husband ordered the farmers breakfast (eggs, bacon, potatoes, and roast with a side of apple butter). He said that the fried potatoes were some of the best that he's ever had!!! (He orders these everywhere and makes these at home). I had the savory french toast. The salad it was served with was fabulous. The restaurant itself looks like a quirky coffee shop (although it's a full service restaurant). Parts of the building remind me of a true old barn, although it's part of the historic downtown. I also highly recommend the Savory French Toast! A really, really thick piece of french toast with a lightly sauted kale in a ceamy white sauce with a delicious pork belly slab! Oh so yummy! Definitely a hidden gem...

Also, I was having a low blood sugar incident (I'm diabetic) and they were very kind to bring me my soup immediately so I could recover as quickly as possible. It was the end of their shift when we walked in and they cheerfully served us anyway despite the busyness of the day (Octoberfest was going on.) If you want a good burger or a quality cheese plate or some good hearty soup, and you want farm fresh quality food, this...
