Hong Kong Buffet treasure hidden among an ordinary strip mall in New Hope. Food is hot & delicious. Buffet is a great price (and includes beverages). Staff is pleasant and quick to clean tables/clear plates. The House Roll is a stand out appetizer worth trying.
Serves take out and dine in buffet. From the moment I walked in the door, the food smelled amazing. The restaurant was clean and has beautiful Asian style decor accented with a waterfall fountain at the front of the restaurant and multicolor LED lights above the buffet. The booth seats are plush and comfy.
There are three buffet tables - 1 for salad/fruit and 2 for entrees/appetizers. The temperature was just right on both hot and cold items. Serves typical Asian-American fare: rice, chicken n broccoli, lomein, fish, sweet n sour chicken, pot stickers, wonton soup etc. The House Roll was notable - is a handmade flaky pastry with meat filling rolled inside. Tasted soo good! Buffet also includes serve your own beverage and an ice cream machine. The food was prepared in small batches so it remained hot and fresh. Staff was quick to refill when bays ran low.
I definately got a good value for the money. I enjoyed both food and ambiance. Great place for family dinner or small...
Read moreI don't care about the service or atmosphere... I wanted a to go order from the buffet. All the food was terrible all forms of fried chick are overcooked or cooked at too high of a temperature. (If you've ever used a frier to cook, you'd know after your first bite from here.) The lo mein seemed very old, several hours (which I'd still eat) except it was smothered in cooking oil or Grease on top of being cold. The beef broccoli was also smoothered in cooking oil, if you put the beef broccoli in a to-go container you can see the thick combination of oil and condensation from steamed broccoli in the bottom because the oil obviously wont mix. I'm not even some good chef, I've just worked fast food before. I've had TV dinners and gas station food that tasted more fresh. Definitely do not recommend this food. Find any other Chinese restaurant, this meets bare minimum...
Read moreSomebody has been lying on these reviews!! I will tell the truth! I drive past this place everyday to work so my family we decided to give it a try since they rating at 3.9 stars. I will never ever eva go again! They only got 2 stands of "hot" food and a salad/dessert stand. I don't mind grabbing my own drink but the food needs more variety. In a chinese buffet I was disappointed to not have fried shrimp with heads, crawfish, fried octopus, sushi, hibachi or some kind of grill, pho noodles, pizza, and egg drop soup. I do give that the place is clean but the atmosphere wasn't warm or happy. The environment felt very empty and dark. The music was alright, the food was decent flavoring, it just didn't meet my expectations. Another perk about this place is that a person is around $15 when other...
