Disco Warehouse — Local services in New Orleans

this is a business that claims they care about their neighbors...business manager austin, after having backed his truck into my city trashcans, threw my city trash cans against the front of my house spreading trash on my property and in the street. he then proceeded to bang on my front door wildly. once i opened the door and asked what his problem was he immediatly started yelling at me that my trash cans had damaged his brand new truck. several times he threatend me physically and challenged me to a street fight. i declined and called 911 instead. once the police arrived and reviewed the video i have of the incident, the officer immediatly repremanded austin and informed him that he was parked illegally , and that his outburst was unacceptable. the officer helped me clean up the trash, not austin. i live with my wife and am now always worried about what kind of actions austin might take against us. i have never recieved an appology of any sort from any disco warehouse employee. i live next door to...

Bad consignment experience. I dropped a carved teak table, 4 chairs, 2 matching foot stools and a chest about 10 months ago. The table and chairs were sold for which I received a check for the minimum amount per the contract I would accept for the table, chairs and stools. The agreement is I was to be paid 60% of "the sales price". The person I spoke with can't tell me the sales price of the table and chairs (they were originally priced at 2.5 times my minimum), has no idea what the stools were sold for separately (I believe an employee took them based on when I dropped the items off) and sees no problem since I was paid my agreed minimum. Even if the table and chairs were sold for my minimum I received absolutely nothing for the stools. In my book this is...

No other place that I would rather be. I happened to be there when on 07/15/22...when there were talented artist selling their wares there. Absolutely beautiful craftwork....from painted African Queens and Mardi Gras Indians, to an outdoor painted Statue of Liberty...all I can say is eclectic. I love this space, the vibe, the feel, the pieces. I didn't find my special thing this time...but that will not stop me from returning, to be enchanted. Go see what you can find at the DISCO.
