Wow. This one is hard for me to write. I visited the Magazine shop twice in three days (Saturday and yesterday) and was disappointed BOTH times. I had the unfortunate luck of running into the same snarky, passive-aggressive employee on both visits. I chalked the first incident up to it being a crazy Saturday before Mardi Gras. But yesterday took the (king)cake. As I was checking out, at 9am, I asked if they’d be closing early. Lots of things to do in this area, take a walk around the beautiful Garden District while...

The only reason I gave four stars is because the employee wasn’t very friendly. Not rude or anything, just not friendly. I will definitely be back and have recommended several people to it, but just something to keep in mind and...
