This is the worst highlight job I’ve ever gotten, and I’ve gotten a lot. I came in here to get my overgrowth touched up so it blends with the rest of my hair. The front looks fine but when I got home and saw the sides and back, they are so patchy and brassy and don’t blend with the rest of my hair. To be honest, I’ve done a better job doing cap highlights at home. He didn’t tease the roots when applying or check the foils if they lightened enough before rinsing. For $300 you would think there would be more attention to detail but they just rush you out and collect their money. I can’t believe he let me leave the salon with my highlights looking like this. If he thought my roots were too dark and didn’t feel comfortable with the job he should’ve let me go somewhere else. But he took my $300 anyways. I emailed them my pictures so they could make it right but got no response, so I have to leave a review to warn people DO NOT get highlights here, or any other service that would require a lot of...

I had a friend cutting my hair up until he relocated due to Covid, and I was pretty nervous to try a new spot, especially with social distancing in play. However, I'm so happy I tried out Style House. Erica is a fantastic stylist! She listened to what I was looking for and executed it perfectly. No hacking off a ton of hair or trying to sell me on a look that I wasn't into. Plus, weeks later, my hair still looks and feels great straight out of the shower (which usually isn't the case with my full and kind of frizzy curls). Yelena Roebuck did a wonderful job on my eyebrows! Over the past 15+ years my eyebrows have been growing thinner and thinner. I never wanted to have the tattooed so, I learned to use makeup to fill them in. Always on fleek. But now I have a child and doing my eyebrows everyday became harder to do. I've heard about microblading from a friend and researched it. Now finally something that actually looks like hairs! Definitely no Chola brows of the past.
