When doing a review of a business, consider everything you experienced when you rate/review. If you feel the clerk was having a bad day - meaning, you felt they weren't very warm and cheery, journal it or call a friend. We're human. You don't know what's going on with them. Try complimenting them about something and be the one to smile. Leave a ray of sun. Staff here are hard, hard workers. Friendly and are here to help the community save a bit of $. If you think something is over priced, talk to the staff. It's a 'discount ' a 'surplus' store. This means, check items out before purchasing them. If you open a box up at home and there's a different and used item in it. Your only stuck with it if you don't bring it back. But, these type of stores- discount/surplus, open the box before you buy it. Go support this neighborhood...

While I love buying everyday household items from this store I did buy a Britax “One for Life” car seat (so I thought) the box sat in my home for months as an extra until I needed to install it into my boyfriend’s truck. I opened the box to find it wasn’t the one for life car seat, straps twisted and the seat stained with food and who knows what else. Used seats are not safe for use… not even sure if it’s legal to sell a used seat but non the less I’m out almost $170. Like I said household products and clothes have been great finds for me but I wouldn’t recommend buying...

Lots of finds from Target! I was thrilled to find a Nordicware bundt pan in 2022- these are heavy, lifetime cast aluminum pans! Like other reviewers said- the variety is AMAZING... example Sta-Bil for winterizing cars & mowers at a fraction of Menards' price. Dove chocolates from Easter- loved those! Gifts for our grandkids, inc. a large, beautiful train set!! I agree- the owner is quite nice- another reason for this Amery shopper to keep...
