I’ve been training at 1.2.1 for roughly 4 months and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a private fitness experience. I do not like traditional gym spaces for a number of reasons. Mostly I don’t like running into neighbors and colleagues during moments of physical exertion which makes it challenging to pick a gym conveniently located between work and home. I’m not self-motivated and tend to shy away from routines and equipment that are unfamiliar. I’m dyslexic and often feel confused by physical commands, exercise patterns and breath control. Working with Ny has resolved all of those issues for me. He is an excellent Trainer — encouraging (without being annoying), empathetic, kind — especially during moments when my body is tired and I feel like Bambi flailing on ice. With his guidance, I am making good progress and I look forward to our sessions. I know that on my own I would not exercise regularly and repeat unhealthy patterns so I feel very lucky to have found a gym that works for me. Read moreI have been working out 2x per week for the past 8 months at 1:2:1 fitness. This experience has been transformative in so many ways. Flavio has been my trainer since day 1. His philosophy and approach to strength training and mobility is impeccably crafted. With precision he is able to make the slightest corrections to shift my posture and maximize my ability to push weight. Eight months later and he is still able to introduce new exercises every session. I am her to get bored. I have not incurred a single injury and have become quite a bit stronger and am very happy with the results. I never imagined I would love squats and deadlifts but am now able to see and feel there merits.
Jackie and Randy are amazing owners and make you feel totally welcomed to their carefully curated private gym. It is always clean and fresh. I shower there after my workouts and sip on nespresso while I am pumping iron. Not bad at all.

Hilary was our trainer for a package of 10 sessions with me and my son (age 14). My son had never worked with a trainer before, so I was looking to get our technique right and pick up good sets of exercises to build on. Hilary was the ideal trainer for this. He's friendly and super knowledgeable, and always ready with a great variety of sets for all muscle groups. His demeanor is fantastic: not a cheerleader or a drill sergeant, he just kept us on point with technique and positioning at exactly the right moments. Hilary figured out the right amount of challenge for each of us, and was quietly encouraging throughout. His playlists are great for the workout too.
