It should be less because of the micro-managing, extremely sassy owners attitude but the food was really that good and the only reason why I went in there was to get food. Sir, if I want to wear a mask in your restaurant you don’t have to tell me that I should take my stupid mask off. You were eating at the cash register and berating your cook for wrapping the pita the “wrong” way all while arguing with your distributor and making him feel uncomfortable. I’m certain most people only order to-go from here and don’t have many interactions with this fella.maybe he was having a bad day but I have seen other reviews sharing the same experiences. Sir you need to take long deep look in yourself and how you carry yourself around others, your toxicity will be your downfall. You have maybe the best falafel I’ve ever had in NYC and I’ve been to well over 50 places. It’s easily top three, along with incredibly fresh ingredients to pair with the delicious falafel. And when you order the spicy sauce it was perfectly spicy. I def plan on going back because I don’t believe that my experience was a reason to not go back, some people have more stress than others I get that. You’ve made it this far, the quality of your food is top notch and I’m writing this review in hopes that just a small tweak in your attitude can change this review better. It...
Read moreNoticed something different the last time I picked up food and today. And it makes sense... no more Josh!! Different ownership. Different chef/staff. Been a returning customer of Holy Pita for quite sometime now, and NEVER have we had a meal that was just okay or unsatisfying. But as of the last time and today's meal, not sure I'm going back there anytime soon, definitely not in any rush... Last time the rice was super salty and watery and the chicken had a weird smell to it, so ended up throwing away most of it, $21 lunch!! Today's meal, falafel's overly salty!! And the sandwich my partner had was the messiest it has ever been. He even asked if the chef changed etc, so I confirmed diff chef and new ownership. Another unenjoyable salty expensive lunch... I hope Holy Pita can come back around to what it use to be quality wise! A bit pricey but used definitely be...
Read moreResponse to owner: You must have me confused with someone else and that is very concerning. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant so I could not have made previous refund requests. Also, the hair is not even close to the same color or texture as mine. As of now, I still have it. Would you like me to bring it so you can see for yourself?
I ordered delivery through one of the apps. My food arrived sealed and untampered with. As I was eating my falafel I discovered a hair that had definitely been in the falafel batter when it was cooked. After reporting the issue and getting a refund; I attempted to eat the remaining falafel because I was out $50 for my meal and still hungry… I didn’t think I would find more hair. The very next falafel I tried to eat had a hair in it!! There is something really wrong going on in their kitchen if that is what...
