I would not put this as a tourist destination. This isn't even really a park that I would tend to come to, because it's so out of the way and not accessible. Unless you live very close by. This is more of a nature preserve at this point, with a lot of birds and flowering plants that are native to the area. It really is beautiful, and you can hear the birds singing and it's quiet. If you're in the area, stop by for a quick breather. If you are doing a run, from Williamsburg down to the Navy yards or downtown Brooklyn, this would be a good place to stop by run through and just get out of the traffic.
