Tears of JOY and gratitude! Today was my first day back in the new studio space after over a year of sitting out Covid Times. Tonie is one of the best yoga teachers I've ever had, and she was my last class and now my first class getting back in the studio. Which, did I mention is airy and beautiful? Lots of natural light, high ceilings, architectural details and all new! Best of all we got to practice in the back yard with trees and a blue sky for a ceiling. It felt very safe in every sense of the word, and I am looking forward to seeing all the wonderful teachers, Kelly, Elizabeth, Jillian, Jason, Alia, all of them, they are all excellent!

Doing the Student First Week. Just had my first class with Paula. R (Arise & Flow) and it was amazing. Best yoga studio I've tried so far. Love the energy of the studio, and the little back garden. Just moved in the area and it will definitely enter in my new morning routine. Trying other heated and non heated classes this week, and was recommended Tonie, Quamay, Paula (the 2 of them), Justin, Jennie, Adriana, Addie... Sorry if I am missing others, I will try them all hopefully!!

The classes are often packed because both the hot and regular yoga are so calming! Love the space. Also can borrow yoga mats if you don’t have your own quite yet! It’s also only $50 for your first week of unlimited classes 🤗

EDIT: Ive been going to classes now for over a month and am completely in love with this studio. All of the classes I’ve been to are incredible. I love the hot classes and the restorative ones the most. I try to go 4-5 times a week and my mental and physical health have not been this good in a long time. Could not recommend more. Classes can be pretty packed but it is a community practice and the instructors are always kindly helping everyone make space and be comfortable. Lots of smiles and kindness. I appreciate the diversity of instructors and participants.

Just went to my first class at Arise, Foundations of Yoga, with Jennifer Kurdyla. I just moved into the neighborhood & I have been so excited to visit the studio right down the block from me. The space is beautiful and very comfortable. The atmosphere was very calming and the class itself was wonderful. I haven't had a consistent practice in several years so this class was perfect. Jennifer's cues were fantastic and she tied together movements on the floor at the beginning of the class to the poses throughout. I feel I was able to really pay attention to my body and its movements in new ways. I am really thrilled to attend more classes & hopefully make this my place for long term practice. I highly recommend anyone give this studio a try! Will update as I take...

It's impossible to get a hold of someone in charge who can make decisions. I had to pause my account for September because of an injury and no one could help me until I asked my bank to step in and reverse the charges. Finally, the owner got back to me after my bank contacted them after I had already tried 3 times both in person, by calling and email with no response.

Meanwhile, the month of September was almost over when I finally did get a response. I have tried multiple times to cancel my account and no one can seem to help me.

In December, the best someone could do over the phone was put my account on hold for December and yet again January is here, I still haven't been to the studio since August and they are trying to charge me again. For the record, I'm all paid up through August.

It just seems like the studio owner doesn't really care about people first they just care about getting paid first which really urks me especially since I love yoga but this type of behavior doesn't make me want to come back to a studio. Never do the auto renew monthly plan...

The studio has a great space and some outstanding instructors, I have been a patron for over 6 months and taking away two stars for the following reasons: First off, they have subs happen ALL THE TIME, and most time without a prompt notice. I was especially disappointed when I walked into a class booked a week in advance, set up everything in the room and when the class started a completely different person was teaching. Surprise was not pleasant as it was by far not my instructor of choice. The studio really need to be better about this. Secondly, cancelling or putting membership on hold is a nightmare. I send three emails back to back just to get a reply - and my request was immediately processed incorrectly. I’ve sent two more emails since praying I won’t have to go through my bank. They would not let you do it in person - why is a mystery to me. Not to mention having a membership is the only way for the classes to actually be considered affordable: a single class at this...
