CVS Pharmacy — Local services in New York

Where to begin with the worst Pharmacy in Queens. When I got there there were 12 angry customers ahead of me. There are three registers and as always only one cashier register was working. The manager saw the huge line, put his eyes down and moved on. Not to mention my life saving drug was OUT OF STOCK AGAIN!. I reviewed no option to get the medication from one of their numerous locations. The app is nonsense and limited. If work didn't designate this as the only place in net work to not pay outrageous BIG PHARMA prices, I'd go elsewhere in half a heartbeat. Thanks to this place I may need a stronger blood pressure dosage. Understaffed and overworked is a poor combination for those who handle drugs. Go elsewhere if you can. Avoid at all costs. 11 more customers lined up behind me while I wrote this. Where is the pro active management? Support staff. At least provide chairs and possibly refreshment. My total wit on line was 28 minutes. You tell me if this is acceptable. The register person was courteous and capable despite the tense atmosphere. This is not the first poor review, so why hasn't Corporate Management done anything? Oh I forgot they are...

Came to get an ear cleaning should have been an in and out thing. Instead I got an ear full of advice I didn't really need or ask for. Was already fully planning to go see a ENT doctor if the cleaning didn't make me feel better just figured I do the easy solution first to see if that's all it was. I didn't need to be shamed for coming to a CVS clinic first. Not to mention the women didn't even want to clean out both my ears just did one. Could have done with out all the 10 minutes of health questions as well as again just an ear cleaning. No point in knowing my who family...

I have only one think to share ! Pharmacist at CVS in Middle Village amazed me with patience,profound understanding, and immediate effort to help. I was desperate and helpless, this one female pharmacist literally saved my life. She is a great asset to the company and the industry. Empathetic and very professional at the same time. I am sure life will be kind to her. She is a perfect example of the pharmacist/ healthcare worker l always imagined to be taking care of. Great human with great skills. Go see...
