Fire Foe Corp. — Local services in New York

We had service done in early August to update tags on six extinguishers and paid for all six. During a later inspection, we discovered that one extinguisher’s tag was never updated. When we called to explain, the customer service representative did not listen to our issue and insisted that we would need to pay again for full service or bring the extinguisher to the shop and pay again. As a company established since 2005, we were not looking to argue over one extinguisher—we simply wanted the service we had already paid for. We would have been happy to bring the extinguisher to the shop to have the tag updated at no additional charge. As a new customer, this was our first experience, and we expected better service and professionalism.

Very poor customer service. The manager was implying that a previous employee was or had stolen from him. Thus making an assumption that I was doing business with that said employee without any proof. I only been to this company three times. I had drop off the fire extinguisher agreed on the cost of servicing, then 15mins later the manager call and said to come take back the extinguishers. Said that they have the right to refuse business which is not a problem with me. He should have said that in the beginning. I stopped by Fire Foe yesterday after finding them on Google, and I’m so glad I did. It's conveniently located close to my work, and I was honestly amazed by how fast and efficient the service was.

Israel was extremely professional and took the time to explain the condition of my extinguishers and what options I had moving forward. His knowledge and communication were top-notch. Kevin, the manager, also made sure I was well taken care of—excellent customer service all around.

Another great perk: the location is right on the corner, which means there’s plenty of parking—super convenient!
