GameStation — Local services in New York

If you haven’t checked out Game Station yet for your kids’ parties or any event, you are seriously missing out! I just hosted a Minecraft-themed birthday there for my son who just turned 5, and when I tell you the kids had the time of their lives I mean it! And you know kids don’t lie. Every single one of them said, “Best party ever!” From the start, Rick (the owner) was top tier professional, patient, and so easy to work with. He responded to my first inquiry in about an hour, walked me through everything, and even let me visit the space twice before the party. The day of, I had plenty of time to set up, full use of the kitchen, plus they provided sternos, serving utensils, and even a cooler for drinks small touches that make a big difference. The space had something for everyone from toddlers playing on the mats and slide, to older kids (and adults) enjoying the arcade games, VR, Jenga, basketball, and air hockey. Rick even had the perfect playlist going, so the energy stayed up all day. Dads were bonding with their kids, the moms got to relax a bit (for once), and the vibe was just right. I didn’t get to play any games myself, but watching everyone else have a blast was more than enough. If you’re looking for a family-friendly place, Game Station is it....

Was very disappointed in their service. My grandson’s 5th birthday was a disaster! No popcorn machine, etc. that was supposed to be included in the price. They changed the time of the party at last minute because they had over booked. Never explained their Policy on how long you can be in the room where you Have your food and cake. We were rushed to feed the kids their cake so they can clean the room for the next group. We didn’t get plates for 25 guess.we had to ask for utensils to eat. We were told that we didn’t have to bring anything but the cake and food. They were going to provide the drinks. But didn’t. The hostess was very unprofessional. The setup where you play games was nice. My grandson loved it because it had games. But as an adult I wasn’t pleased at all about the service. Gamestation gave my family and I a great experience. I threw my son a party for his 13th birthday and he really loved the place as well as our guest! The staff was very helpful for the 4 hours we were there. They provided us with ice, popcorn, and juices for everyone, as well as access to their kitchen where they provided us with racks and pans to warm our food. They were very hands on and constantly checked in with us to make sure everything was going smooth. They are keeping everyone safe by doing their part following COVID-19 guidelines, all who attended had to get their temperature checked and hands sanitized. Also mask were mandatory to be worn throughout the building, besides when you were eating in the party room. The building was very clean and bright.
