Okay, here's the thing...this supermarket arrived in the neighborhood a few years ago, clear beautiful fishbowl appearance (the windows), great, right.
Yeah, the appearance is beautiful, I just cannot say the same for all of the bad items this market sells.
Since the market opened to the public; they have been selling expired meat products (green on other side of meat after removing from the package), moldy bread, fruits and vegetables that are usually REMOVED from the stock, in other well, freshly stocked, markets.
This market is very clean, however, they sell these outdated, moldy and awful products; because they are in a prime location, residents need a supermarket, and this market has no competition within a quarter of a mile, and their products are just as bad.
Fresh foods are not fresh, meats are ready for the trash, packaged items are still on the shelves with past expiration dates.
So, if you have a choice, I would not purchase products from this beautiful - fairly new- market.
Wait, please do not think I shopped here only once, no! Over the years and different days during the week and seasons, I have shopped at this market, and have been horribly, disappointed, every, time.
Oh well, I had to speak from my experience from over the years of shopping at this location.
Btw, the staff is fair, pretty good manners and service, could it be better, sure, but they are, manageable for what's outside the fishbowl.
Management should spend more time walking the aisles (daily) checking their products, and less time trying to look, important.
Management should also seriously consider changing (keyword for lowering) the prices of the overpriced groceries in this store, when they have there next, management meeting....
Read moreVery unhelpful. When you ask the workers what is on sale they have no idea. Asked on multiple occasions which items were on sale the guy just pointed his finger. Went on line 3 times to find the right item then just walked out and gave up. Multiple occasions where meat is spoiled or very close to it. Chicken from time to time has smelt sour. All times I returned after proving I just bought it. Maybe the concern should be why it was packed and shelved if it was not good for consumption. The prices are always beyond expensive. Fruits and vegetables overpriced etc. It's your typical key food operating under a different name honestly. Never had any issues with any cashier's always nice girls. The heavy set manager always gives attitude and even argued with me once. That should tell you they are not being run properly. Overall this store is not worth the price, the quality or service. Change your manager, teach your employees to actually help the customer especially after 3 attempts to find...
Read moreDecent place to shop. The delivery people are friendly and helpful. As for the cashiers and the women who work in the customer service section of the supermarket, well they need to work on their customer service, they're rude, they have attitudes, they look like they're miserable all the time and it's unfortunate that while they have jobs there , people who are unemployed who have the qualities that their jobs require don't work there.
Several times my husband has had issued with the staff gawking at him as if he's trying to steal stuff but he always goes in/out with his items paid, and the women with the glasses, who's Hispanic who works in the customer service area needs a new job because she's always treating him rude. If you hate your job then find something else to do and give another opportunity to someone who'd really appreciate it especially during these times. Foods overpriced, produce is always fresh but you gotta be mindful of the dates on...
