Medina Fried Chicken & Pizza — Restaurant in New York

I love the food here. The only place that I can find halal Beef Patties that tastes like Jamaican Patties. Although the price for the beef patty has increased by $1.00, it's $3.50 now. The pizza was delicious, so was the Fish with Rice, the Spinach roll, fried chicken and wings, the rotisserie chicken. The customer service was excellent. One day they didn't have one of the items in the order; the restaurant staff called to let me know that the food item sold out and I requested the food item to be replaced with something else that was more than the original item. They replaced it with that item. That's going and over and beyond with customer satisfaction. There are other days where they forgot a beef patty which I never received that beef patty ever again. This time I changed the rating from 5 star to 3 star because three times they made ordering mistakes. My most recent order was missing biscuits and mashed potatoes, which they didn't have and they did not call to notify me to choose something else but instead gave an item that we all could not eat, which was 2 large french fries; I rather have two beef patties or other side orders instead of fries. They only gave me a pepsi when I had two combo orders that came with two sodas. So, that kind of sucks. Although their pizza and fried chicken are very delicious, I do not think anyone should do online ordering; instead order it from the store, that way you can see if all your items...

I decided to try the small cheese pizza for my daughter with the halal beef pepperoni. I almost ordered through grubhub but decided to pick up instead. I called the store and placed my order. When the person who took my order states the total but it has a $4 price discrepancy with grubhub (no coupon was applied.) I asked the reason behind the price difference, he laughed and said he only puts “little” cheese and “little” sauce on the grubhub orders as per owner’s instructions. However, with orders made in store ($4 more) he will put the “normal” amount. When I said that it’s illegal practice and cheating the customers, the guy laughed and said to take it up with grubhub. There is no sense of shame, guilt, or reprehension in his words or actions. This is very disgusting and shameful. Steps should be taken to remediate this. I...

Ordinary yet not that cheap. My trail was over mixed veg, bbq chicken & beef pizza,, onion rings,, fries,, wings and beef patties over 2 days. Amongst all pizzas, the mixed veg was good, beef was mediocre and bbq chicken was garbage. Wings are cheap 😊 but underseasoned. However the thing that I was mostly disappointed with was the onion rings. Mine had 2 different colors- brown & darker brown (obvious that those were double fried from an old batch kept frozen for a while). I may get back to them for them for the mixed veg pizza or to try something new. But not a highly recommended place unless you are super hungry or looking...
